A world sponsored by TAT.

I did my 90 day this morning. It was so quiet the young trainee on the door didn't even give me a queue number.
The IO scanned my passport, printed out the new slip (30th July) and didn't even give a cursory glance at my form and supporting paperwork.
I then asked when the new office was opening. He said "Another 5 months".
We'll see. But they don't seem to be in a hurry, which suites me as I live barely 4km away. The new office will be a pain.

Superior advise. Check with ""YOUR LOCAL IO on THEIR policy"". Can not be said enough times
But that's their policy on that day and for that officer only.

Thanks for this. Probably KK will do same to me next time. Did the IO make you go outside to the photocopy girl and obtain a TM30 form, complete it, get it checked at the desk on the left by the entrance and then queue up again?
Oh yes!

Tell that to Khon Kaen office. I haven't left Thailand for 11 years and I think it's five or six since I went out of Khon Kaen province. Yet last September in order to renew my extension they asked for a new TM30. Fortunately my wife had her tabien baan with her.

Lock Trump up. He deserves that.
So you wouldn't bother with a trial because you think he's guilty.

A few years ago, I stopped at a Zebra crossing to allow the pedestrians to cross the road (4-lanes).
On my right side there was another car which had stopped for the pedetrians.
Nonetheless, a motorcycle driver who was late for his Som-Tam session chose to pass us on the left and scoped the pedestrians.
Crossing a street in Thailand is a risky businnes.Which is why, regretfully, I no longer stop for pedestrian crossings.

You forgot the USA, who have been active in more wars, and killed more "enemy" in more countries than all those you listed above, have the most weapons and sell the most weapons.
If war breaks out I will enlist to fight for Thailand. Take on the Burmese again. We have a few scores to settle.
But would probably lose again.

No such thing - Camembert is origin protected....which BTW under EU regs Stilton no longer is so it can be copied throughout the world. It is also symptomatic that Brexiteers know so little about "the good things in life".
Your comment about British cheeses just shows how little you know about world cheeses and the varieties available - bet you don't even know where Cheddar is.
I've been there, and, dare I say it, gorged myself.

If you have an on-line account with HMRC it is a very simple procedure to correct the amount of state pension you're receiving. Your coding will then be amended and the appropriate tax deductor (usually another pension payer) will be informed of the change.
I'm sorry but that's not my experience. Vi my online account I told them 5 times last tax year that I do not receive the increase and each time they signed it off as completed without altering the wrong code. In the end I rang them in February and it was corrected at once.

British Camembert, and in fact all British cheeses, are just as good as anything the French can produce.

About 5pm yesterday I tried to transfer some money from my Kasikorn account to my wife's Kasikorn account using the Kasikorn website as I happened to be on the computer at the time. The OTP they sent never arrived. So I transferred the money using the mobile app which worked fine and there's no need for an OTP in the app. This morning I noticed a message from Kasikorn on my mobile. The OTP had arrived at 0025, ie about 7 hours after they claim to have sent it.
Has anybody else experienced this sort of delay, and what could have caused it?

I had the same problem. I moved the mouse dongle from the USB port at the back to one at the front and that cured it. Just a bad connection I suppose.

As above in my wife's village in Khon Kaen except that close relatives go through the ashes for a bone or tooth to keep and the rest of the ashes are put under a tree, not buried.

It was a man, and years ago. Their attitude may have changed now but my wife hates to interact with their officials as they always look down on mia farang.

That's exactly what I was told a few years ago at the Khon Kaen office. That's after the first thing the officer said to my wife (in Thai of course) "Can you read and write". She was upset and I was fuming when she told me afterwards, she has a BA and a hard-won MA. But she wouldn't let me go back in to speak to him.

Agreed. But we are talking about HMRC assuming we get the annual increase to our state pension and taxing us accordingly.

@john smith do you have an on-line account with HMRC? If you do that is the easiest route to resolving this issue, I had this problem for 3 years until I discovered how to fix it quickly and simply via my HMRC account and it has now been sorted, I received refund cheques for each of the 3 years that I overpaid and the problem hasn't reoccurred now for 10 years.
If you do have a HMRC account and you would like some advice on how to go about it, let me know and I'll do my best to walk you through it.
I have the same problem. I have reported this five times via my HMRC account but each time it is signed off with no action on their part. There is no comment space to let you tell them you are abroad. All you can do is tell there is an error in the state pension figure you are receiving and input the correct weekly figure. Then it's signed off within two weeks without amendment.
