  1. Hi, I've been here over 23 yr's already (full time) & have bought many new cars (too many as its me cost so much but hey ho) Some cash & a few on finance. The type & make is entirely your choice of course but my advice is to go with the leading top names and DEFINITELY check out your local dealerships before you decide (facilities/workshop/staff attitude etc.) as they are not all good! This goes for bikes also. Good luck.
  2. Not sure if this helps but I'm now using the monthly income method although have used the combination & marriage methods in previous years. They are very helpful here in Krabi but it's def best to make everything as complete & clear as possible. Have bank statement printouts of each & every month and clearly 'highlight' each of your monthly bank overseas transfers/ deposits. I use different colour highlight pen for my transfers (I always use the 'Wise' service) & different colour for the corresponding deposits of the funds into the Thai bank account. I also number 1 to 12 each months transaction on the bank printouts & include a separate page for clarity with a summary simply listing each months date & amounts.
  3. Haven't tried this yet but thought good to share anyway.... https://ownersmanuals2.com/
  4. I realise I'm prob too late Dan but this place not far from me (Chong Phli near Ao Nang) just has to be the best choice. I know Jeff to be one of the most decent, honest & fair blokes out there. He's been going for many years already, has a v good reputation with around 50 rental bikes, all taxed/insured & fully serviced in great condition at very good prices...(I really don't think there are any better or cheaper). I know he also offers a delivery & pick-up service but not sure if that includes the bus station...Def worth a call tho. Cheers, Ray.
  5. This is from https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-03-10/what-we-know-about-covid-omicron-sub-variant-ba2/100899980 posted last Thursday 10th March..... The WHO released a statement calling it a "variant of concern", but Dr Wood said there was no need to be "overly concerned". Is BA.2 more transmissible? The World Health Organisation (WHO) says studies have shown the BA.2 variant appears to be more transmissible than BA.1. UNSW School of Population associate professor James Wood said the new sub-variant was about 25 per cent easier to catch than the original strain.
