I stayed at the Avalon 1,700 2 nights very clean pleasant young staff breakfast extra @ 90 Baht it is close to the bus station Avalon to embassy 200 Baht There is a hotel walking distance to embassy 450 per night you will have to google this for the name.

I did the Savannakhet O visa March 2016 as Idiablo stated it was quick and painless. Should I go in 2017 i'll stay in   Mukdahan first night as there is a bus that gets you to Savannakhet well on time 50 Baht

I have some friends who are staying in Phuket they are a couple 82 years from Sweden Obtained a 2 month visa in there home country, they wish to stay a further 2 months Please could someone inform me of the options available to them to extend the visa Thank You

The bus leaves Mukdahan station to Savannakhet cost 50 Baht you can get the bus at the border to Savannakhet cost same 50 Baht The problem you will have is when on the Laos side you have to fill out a visa form then its processed cost 1,500 you will find then the bus has gone. Taxi to embassy 200 Baht, coming back share tuk-tuk to the bus station 100 Baht Bus all the way to Mukdahan 50 Baht no problems on return

DO NOT worry about getting there for open time they are very quick 40 persons in out 20 mins

P.S. If i was to go again I would stay in Mukdahan one night not 2 in Savannakhet

This five mins from where I live, there are no plans to put in an underpass, not required without the rains its a good stretch of road.

I believe all that's required like many roads here is education of waste management, constantly see the drains blocked , no brain errrr

After reading many threads on multi O visa I am still somewhat perplexed

My 12 Month multi entry O visa will expire by September and with a further 90 day stamp
bringing up to Dec 4 will be a requirement to renew I understand there is the
option of extension via retirement with 800,000 ect also I am now married to a Thai and aware of
the 400,000 copies of this and that

I note that Savannakhet is a good option for many at “this time”

My Two questions:
Do I have to go to somewhere like Savannakhet or KL to get my first Marriage
visa or my local immigration office Phuket

2: Do I have an option of another 12 month multi O
Where could I apply? I am a UK citizen with my last visa issued in Birmingham

I have built a new home outside of Phuket and this was registered in the Thai girlfriends name, we have since married

I obviously need an address as to were i stay. So my question is does the Tabbien Bann require my name putting on or do I need a rent book from the wife

Any advise would be appreciated.
