Just curious. You were just enquiring on how to get a Tourist Visa for your up coming trip to Thailand in January ? Won't that be a bit late to look for a Christmas dinner
Denim... I will go to Thailand to spend a few days together with my boy friend in this christmas and Im planning to go to stay with my bf for 2 months next year. You said Malaysian don't need a visa to enter Thailand thats true but the thing is in my other post I said I want to stay for a couple of months in Thailand not just 30 days! someone told me I only can stay for 30 days in Thailand without a visa(or I can leave Thailand then come back but I can't be bother too much work) and if I want to stay for more than 30 days I still have to apply for a tourist visa like everyone else. So you nearly missguide me! I over stayed more than a week in Thailand by accident once it caused me a lot of problems so now I want to make sure I get a 2 months tourist visa before I go there

Apply for a 2 month tourist visa at the nearest Thai Embassy or consulate.
Thanks do you know how much it cost and how long it take? how many time can I apply?
Kitty9. The second time you apply for a tourist visa you have to strip off all your clothes and have a body search to check you are not a drug smuggler. Mind you, if you are Malaysian, then you don't need a visa to come to Thailand do youEither kitty9 is being a troll or somebody is using kitty9 that is not kitty9.
And/or does not know that we can check prior posts.
ubonjoe thanks for your kind reply

OK, thanks, so there hasn't been any changes in the last 3 months then? Immigration departments like to change these things all the time!!

Hi,
I've got a 60 day tourist visa that expires in a couple of days. I've seen many articles online that state it can be extended for 30 days. However, I was at imigration in Bangkok a few months ago and I saw a sign saying that the maximum extension was now only 7 days. Does anyone what the length of extension is now?
Many Thanks,
Ewan

Pay the overstay fine of 500 baht a day. Simple enough and leave it at that.
I didn't know that, this is my first time here asking for help, I thought I could post it to everybody sorry! It's simple if you have the money but not simple to me at the moment, that's why I am here to get some advise.

Hello, I am Malaysian and my visa has expired for 8 days now, I didn't notice until yesterday. I am very worri because I've been told that I need to pay 500baht each day? I have not much money left and I can't afford to pay that much fine. Do anyone have any idea so I could reduce the fine? Someone told me I can corrupt the immigration staff in the border, does it works? This is my first time overstay in foreign country I am very worry could you please give me some advice? I just want to leave Thailand as soon as possible
Thank's a lot
