  1. Hi to all of those who are reading.....riding and not riding the Tiger Boxer 250cc RS,

yes, we have got to make these Thai people believe that MADE IN THAILAND sometimes is worth the money they pull out of their pockets.

Here we have a bike - the Boxer 250 RS - with an own character and a cool look!

This is my experience when talking about motorbikes and the likes in Thailand?

    Well, here we go...

I have been talking to a lot of these very funny and friendly Motocycle Taxis in Bangkok and there is no way you can talk them into buying a Tiger Smart or a Joker or anything that even smell of Thai-made.

But for god's sake, do they know that the Tiger Boxer 200cc and 250cc RS was born of a joint collaboration between Cagiva Italy and Tiger?

And do they know what Italian design and bike's enginering and technology stand for?

    idea.gif

Name one man on earth that does not know what DUCATI or FERRARI means.

Ever heard of MV Agusta bikes (that among others builds elicopter fighters) and/or LAMBORGHINI cars?

    Only to mention a few...

Dear Thai friends you are here to make a difference.

Why enriching Countries like Japan with their yes, excellent bikes, while you have a second choice in your own Thai land?

The grass of your neighbour is always greener, they say.

But this time home-grown grass is 100% good product.

Look at India...they have their own motorbike manufacturers: Bajaj Pulsar, Hero Honda that produces Hunk 150cc and Karizma 220cc.

If you walk down the streets of Dehli or Culcutta or Banglore you will see thousands of these India-built bikes.

So...let us also in Thailand go Thai.

And besides, don't they see what a better look the metropolitan police has since they are riding on the Boxer 200cc?

Or they have simply forgotten that they used to ride on kawasakies and hondas and yamahas made in the 1970's?

Not much time will go by before finally (I hope) thai guys will realize that buying Thai brands does not only

make them look better on two wheels, but also and

foremost will help support this soaring and

tumbling economy that is claiming so many job losses in this beautiful Country.

And off I go on to my Boxer 250cc RS.

See you on my next posting and

    in the meantime...enjoy your Tiger,

    Cheers,

    Frank A.

all of the japanese branded motorcycles at 150cc and under are made in thailand...but the tiger uses a chinese made engine, so you are actually doing less to support thailand.

and if i remember correctly tiger started in India.

  2. "is it nobler for a man to endure the slings and arrows of desire that is reciprocal time wasted or invested, the future or past that unravels a truth."

Is it more honorable for a man to endure the emotional slaying of waiting for his desire? (you) which may result in time wasted by both?

or is it time spent that shall bear fruit which shall be sweet?

only the future shall tell or the past experiences which you have encountered will form your decision.

in ghetto terms : am i wasting my time? or are you gonna hook me up, if i wait for you?..geez i wish i knew if im the same as your other guys.

most girls i know, would say: "Shieet, i aint worth yo time?"...you betta go on'...

  3. the corniest line i ever used (because of alcohol) was - "I have a baby elephant in my pocket, wanna see the trunk?"...ehhh, but it worked :o (she was drunk too)

ok...i'll get out of the ladies forum now and go hide.

  4. Ok my first thoughts are they need to change the seat for Farangs. the cut out on the seat pushes my nuts in to the tank. the bike seems to have more midrange than the Cbr150 (but then it should do). The brakes are good and progressive and the suspension seems good (especially the front fork)

Fit and finish is good to ok but not any thing special (again the newer ones are a bit better)

Spares are not a problem as they keep everything in the factory.

of interest to some i thought that the CX135 AUTOCROSS bike was pretty good for 37,500 if i was up country and riding some rural dirt tracks etc it would be something to look at.

Also the Sachs x-trail 250 will be ready for the Bangkok Motor Show.

    this is the 125

are you comparing the your cbr which had a 38 tooth sprocket and a larger downpipe, or a stock 42-44 tooth sprocket and a stock downpipe and silencer.

with a 38 tooth sprocket youd be losing about 25% bottom end in the transition to mid end -combine that with a larger inner diameter downpipe and silencer, and the bottom end loses even more.

kano no hard feelings just had to put you on the spot for a while, since no one has done it yet...add to that, i once saw a picture of a white man on the sales/marketing department for tiger...but now it cant be found....maybe it was a picture of Norman Tandoc....like i said i never said anything bad about the performace of the tiger and still really want to try one out...

but the problem of resale is the only thing holding me back, maybe since you are in close contact with tiger you can suggest sometype of buy back program for those wanting to upgrade to their newer models...im sure that with the assurance of being able to trade in for a newer model, sales will only increase.

  5. I never push a bike to anyone can ride what he wants i always said . And if you cant stand a reaction sad for you.

I dont have any problem that you stay with your favorite brand . Coz i dont have any affiliation with TIGER . I never pushed TIGER to anyone. Some people became friends of me via this treads and they still kept their own brand or bought another bike than TIGER . No problem for me where biking together.

HOW many times i posted TIGERS contact detail . go out and see yourself. same as i did. My idea at the beginning was.

" so many people are talking bad about this brand. But I never saw the police pushing a TIGER ."

referring What THAICBR said about Blondie and Dave boo pushing the HONDA CBR was always ok for me coz its indeed a very good bike. Why you cant accept it for the TIGER BOXER or feel suspicious with them ?????????????????

If you dont like it stay out of this tread i never go into honda CBR tread saying boxer this and that .

I wrote all this posts selfless.

    Good luck VATO

    be a good biker

you never push a bike? whenever someone doesnt agree with you , you call them ignorant and stubborn...then you leave contact details for the salesman.

and where have i ever said anything bad about tiger? where? show me a link to a post or wherever you may find it, you wont because it doesnt exist except in your own little mind. -

peace and daveboo may advocate the CBR, but they are not going out of their way to promote sales as you are doing...or calling people without the same beliefs ignorant, stubborn, etc...i have a CBR but advocate the Raider...but i dont put details for the salesmans contact info here.

you may have never seen a cop pushing a tiger, but i invite you to go to Klong Than police station where you will find quite a few broke down tigers infront of the police office, doing nothing but collecting dust...or would you like me to take a picture and post it here for you.?

anyway like i said , i never said anything bad about the tiger boxer, just getting tired of your push, and rudeness.

    Thanh

to me second hand resale value is important, and i dont see how anyone would make a profit from selling a secondhand item , when you have to sell it for less than you bought it for...

ive had cars in thailand that took 6-8 months to sell because of the rarity and incompatibility with the thai market (Bluebird SSS), and when time came, it boiled down to selling at a ridiculously low price just to move it...im not rich and have to stay as liquid as possible...and would prefer to keep my losses as low as possible...but for a person with 23 motorcycles as yourself you are obviously rich and have money to throw around at your slightest whim...if i were donald trump id probably care less about cost too.

  6. kano, your problem is, whenever ANYONE says ANYTHING regarding tiger you jump on them about it....and start accusing people of being biased stubborn or ignorant.

let me ask you, what right do you have to accuse me of being stubborn ? when i have said nothing negative about tiger whatsoever...?

so dont feel sad for me, feel sad for yourself, as you are the one making false accusations...you prick.

tell you the truth , with your attitude, i dont ever want to touch a tiger now...and this is the point which is too hard for your stupid ass to understand - when you push a product too hard people start to get weary about the legitimacy of the statements.

and it's a cold hard fact, that resale value is $hit...if you can resell it at all.

  7. any car stereo place can get it for you...industrial flashing used in the construction of commercial buildings is the same thing, goes on before the finishing layer.

or like yabaaa mentioned, you can go to homepro and get a roll under the name Sika...its thinner and twice as expensive though.

  8. there must be a clear definition of the 'sponsors' to the US embassy...

    1. Education visa

    2. a sponsor in the US must NOT be related to the visa applicant in anyway...the embassy people will always assume they are trying to defect with a family member.

    3. Attending a private/boarding school will be much much much much easier to obtain a education visa...especially if they are younger than 14...and it is apparent , a foreigner is not trying to get a free educaton from the public school system.

    4. the 'thai' sponsor (in thailand) must show a bank account with sufficient funds within the past 6 months, although in our case ...they didnt look at it, may have forgotten...does not have to be immediate family member such as mother / father...can be aunt or uncle.

    5. the mother or father is required to go along on the visa interview day....if neither is available a notarization authorizing a guardian can be acceptable, by verification of a phone call to US citizen services....BUT....the stupidity of the security guards at the embassy entrance who check paperwork before admitting entrance may conflict, do to lack of knowledge.

    6. the visa interviewer is a pessimist from the beginning, it is their job...

    7. if you plan on being the US sponsor, going to the visa interview with the child will help immensely.

this is the experience i have gained by sending our 11 year old cousin to hawaii.

  9. so it appears a guy's scent can be an unwritten, almost subliminal factor in the attraction between two people...i really can't smell anything on myself scent wise.

could it be that a guys scent is actually the pheromones being emmitted and fitting into the girls sensory perception channels? kinda like a jigsaw puzzle, some scents will fit and some won't?

ok now im getting paranoid, and keep sniffing myself (that just doesnt sound right)....i think its time to change the sheets.

  10. Putting this in ladies' forum for obvious reasons.

I am trying to locate Vagifem, a form of estradial in suppository form. I know it is approved for use in Thailand but having no success locating a supplier, can anyone advise?

Everyplace has the premarin cream but, being a human rather than equine female, I would much prefer to stick to estradial or estriol. I am currently using estriol suppositiories that I was able to get in Cambodia but they are very expensive and scarce there.

Oestrogel can't be used for this purpose as the gel is in an alcohol base which makes for rapid drying on the skin but also makes it unsuitable for use in sensitive areas.

BTW for the benefit of those of you also peri or post menopausal, I learned the hard way that even when systemic symptoms of estrogen deficiency are either controlled by systemic replacement, tolerable without or have passed, one really, really does still need local application or some very painful conditions can occur. ..

a similiar type of suppository is available here in a foil pack in an oval shaped pink pill, forgot the name of it though...tell the pharmacist:

    Sod Pai Nai - Sod/Insert -Pai Nai/Inside

for external use there is Lactycid in a white bottle

why do i know this stuff?...im suppose to be a guy... :o

  11. Mrs Neverdie likes to ride naked as well....she even has a built in suction cup to help her stick to the seat whilst cornering :D

    foxyjackynakedonmotorcyye0.th.jpg

ps: I had to pick a rear shot...so the mods at TV wouldnt take a fit :o

she also appears to have a couple of frontal airbags...in the event of an emergency situation.

  12. ^^all, are you sure about that!! I think you'll find there are still thai women in their millions who happily go for thai men :o

Haha. That's funny. A good looking, well educated westerner with charm can have his pick of women......in ANY part of the world.

A good looking, well educated Thai man with charm is limited to pretty much limited to Thais. He's totally outclassed. :D

The amount of anymosity....bordering on hatred Asian guys have towards good looking, young westerners is actually great for the ego. :D

I've experienced this on numerous ocassions from Thai/Korean/Chinese guys....for stealing their women.

    Love it!!!! :D

what do you do when the boyfriend finds you and has a 357 magnum pointed at your head?...say sorry?

    idiot

  13. Do women really get attracted by a man's scent? There is this girl i was seeing recently (and one in the past)that said she absolutely loved my scent...this is kinda weird to me, because i dont smell anything. :D

or maybe i stink and i dont know it?...i dont seem to ever associate a scent with any girl ive been with...but some taste dam_n sweet! :D

so what's up, is the Axe deodorant working its magic or what? :o

  14. Does anyone know if there is dynamat or fatmat or similar sound insulation sold in BKK?

no need to pay extra for brand names like dynamat or fatmat...there are many local thai brands available.

American Dynamic seems to be the best deal at approx 450 per roll uninstalled... if you are installing yourself, lay a sheet in direct sunlight and let it soften and become flexible before installing...if you aint got no sun, lay it over the engine bay if the engine is hot.

the thai word for damping is - Pan Damp

    you a basshead?

  15. What is the Thai word that would describe 'sexism' , someone who was 'sexist', a man who was chauvinistic?

Was thrying to explain the meaning to a Thai and they just could not grasp it.....

    Help?

    Doo Toog Paaed Onn.

    Doo Toog-with negative critiscm...Paaed- sex....Onn -weak/er

in other words, being critical of the weaker sex.

  16. fast food, not sit down restaraunts...

do you have to tip these delivery people from pizza hut, mcdonalds, kfc...? i know mcdonalds charges 20 baht per delivery, not sure about pizza co or kfc...but are these guys getting paid per delivery? or are they on a salary?

the pizza co guys in my area have been around for a long time, so the pay must be acceptable to them.

im not a cheap charlie, but when they linger around for that split second in anticipation of a tip, it bothers me whether or not they are dependent on tips...and makes me not want to tip them because they are expecting it...but if they work for tips then, its all good.

  17. beware of people charging processing/closing fees/notary fees...more than likely they are scammers.

simplyask what type of fees are associated, either they will not reply or act like your propostion may not be accepted, or tell you upfront the fees, which they will require in advance.

there are no fees with a legit company.
