  1. purushanti, thanks for taking time to share the info.

I'm not in Bangkok right now. The best I can do is did a google on the place you mention " Suan Maree" but didn't get it. I wish you have more infor on this place.

Hoping that someone can intoduce more other places.

    Regards,

  2. I'm coming to live in Bangkok for 4 months.

Need a place that close by the piers since I intend to take water taxi as my main transportation.

There must be some of you guys who live or know a decent place that doesn't have to cost a fortune to live by the water. Will you be kind enough to share your experiences and provide info about those places.

I'm a very easy living person, all I need is a safe, clean room with a/c and frige, no need TV, phone, wifi, hot water, etc

Your time and info are greatly appreciated.:jap:

  3. Bang Na is a little far out for me as I work at Tha Prachan.

    Location wise.

Ricklev, there is a small apartment rental next door to Tha Prachan, it calls 'MAHARAT APARTMENT'. Many types of room from furnish studio, one bedroom, two bedroom.

    Prices are quite reasonable.

PM me if want more details.

(fyi, I'm not affiliated with this establishment, my lady friend used to live there on a six months lease.)

  4. G'Day Everyone,

Does anyone knows or has any experience living around this area ?

This is what I'd like :

    - A pool ( a must have).

    - Close to the pier since I intend to use water taxi as my main

    transportation.

    - Have air condition.

    - Plenty of food shops or market near by.

    - My budget is up to 10,000 baht a month.

    - Will stay up to 3 months.

I'm not in a bar scene, nor a drinker or a smoker.

    Appreciate all the responses.

    Sorry, forgot to add:

    - Have to be furnished.... refrigerator, microwave, bedding,

    lighting.

    - Can leave out kitchen, television, hot water.

    Thanks.

  6. Hi, the problem lies in the fact that Thai Visa has just gone through a major

update and the Thai ISP's cache the pages on their servers. (ie that means they

save the page on their server) So, you are viewing old pages. Best case

solution, clear your cache, delete temporary files (instructions for clearing

all browser's caches can be found here: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache).

Make sure you are not on ThaiVisa when you do it. Then, restart your computer

and re-boot your modem. (turn it off for a few minutes then turn it back on).

    This should fix the problem///

You might also try using a different web browser. Worst case solution is to wait

a few days until the ISP updates their cache as well. Y
