As an American I did not have experience with UK visitor Visas.

But the main goal and it's actually the law in US embassy is to ensure they won't want to stay.

Her job lie was really a mistake.  This is these people's job.  Don't you think they can sniff fraud?   But also massage is a perfect occupation to be able to find quick work in most countries.  Legitimate massage or the + kind.    How long have you been apart?   You may have some savings and disability income.  Sorry to hear that.  But your not exactly a big income earner and could use a live in nurse it would appear.  Massage skills a plus.

I think you have a steep hill to climb with this woman.

she didn't lie about the job. she's been work remotely from different country many time as now most of us now working from home same as myself. I can do my job anywhere is the world.

they have been apart 5 years, I myself move to UK 16 years ago. I am not big earner but comfortable.

Your sister needs to contact an immigration attorney.

There are many questions, like what is the child's passport, is your sister listed as the mother, what were the custody arrangements when her father took her to the USA, will the grandparents agree to her plans (or will they object), does the child want to return to Thailand, etc.

The child doesn't want to come to Thailand. she is worry about her grandparents ???? bless her heart she's only 9.

the agreement for the father to take care of child because he had to go back as parents one become deft and the other become blind plus grandparents want to meet the child at that time and they decided to live apart but remain in relationship, they spokes most day on social media. The child is American citizen had American passport

  3. My sister's been marriage to US citizen 10 years ago and had a child together, Her husband took the child with him as he want the child to get education in the State. she is now 9 years old and live in USA, with visa restriction my sister she's refuse to entry  USA they then living life separately but remain marriage. My brother in law recently had lunge covid19  and passed away few day ago and left families in the dark. The child is now been look after by grand parents, grandpa had hearing issue and grand me had sight issue ( partial blind) but they are not register disable. when my brother in law still alive he's main man look after everyone. now he's gone which left the young child no direction.

I myself ( aunt) live in UK and i am UK citizen. During Covid travel restriction had made everything complicated.

My sister whom now in Thailand now want to go to get her child which she want to bring her back to Thailand but grandparents who's now lost their son but granddaughter is now what they have got left. I personally don't think the grandparents is capable to look the child and I clearly understand that if I step in it could cause complication. I live alone and had my own business and own home. Ideally I would like to take care my niece.

My sister is now looking to get Visa to USA and look after the families during difficult time but she's no idea where to start or where to begin. she's just lost her husband and child is been neglected during sad time.

she's very mature for her age and very very sad child. my hearth is really broken to her what's she been through at the moment.

My sister is now working from home and she could working remotely online as she did in Thailand and it's not different if she need to from home in abroad, the company she's working for willing to remain to hire her if she have to work from other part of the world.

My question are how can my sister go to USA to look after the child or bring the child back if necessary?

Can I go to USA and bring the child back to thailand for her mum? ( I have an ESTA)

can I adopted the child? (which my sister happy for me to do so)

Can my sister go to USA and look after the families and HOW?

I really hope someone here could give me the advise

If she has a good job, been there 20 years, the company she works for can write an employment letter stating salary and what not, and provide proof of being paid by that company via bank records, every month etc.. Thats very good.

If she owns a house, in her name, even if its mortgaged, in her name, then thats great too because it proves she needs to get back to thailand to work and pay her bills.

If what you are saying is true, then if the Husband wants to sponsor her B-2 Visa, it should not be a problem. But you have to understand that the US is not Thailand. If you don't check ALL of their boxes, you will not get the visa.

However, there is nothing that YOU can do to help other than pay for visa fees. The US embassy does not care about you, or the husband, in considering her for the visa. Its 100% the wife that has to prove to the US embassy that she has enough ties to Thailand to return. The husband only sponsors and takes responsibility. Proves that he can support her as well. But all the money in the world will not get her a visa and all the sympathy in the world will not get her a visa if she can not prove to the embassy she has more reason to return to Thailand than stay in the USA and honestly thats gonna be hard. But it can be done.

As far as everything else you said. I would be interested to hear both sides of any story before making an opinion but you coming out with him being a "convict" like somehow he is undeserving of his lot in life - that is not helping.

Superb strange, that's very helpful. as I know, no one is perfect we all done silly things in life that's including myself what's ever he's done in the part it's the part everyone deserve second chance. will look to the B 2 visa perhaps read more advise. Thank you all so much.

  5. Thank you all very much for all the advise given.  all  are useful information that can help and guide me me to right directions.

my sibling had a good job in bkk and she's stay in same job nearly 20 years it's not a massive incomes but it's reasonable for living life in bkk and she's very well educated. I myself live abroad and I do miss my families but I am in the position where I can go to visit them in Thailand anytime. but for her to be apart from family that she's only just built on solid ground of love and innocently  been destroy and too away from small little sweet child it's really heart broken for me to watch this going on. that's why I want to sponsor her travel just to see her happy.

  6.
If they want to go to live in the US, how would getting a visa for a month or two accomplish that.
With all the (rather confusing) issues you describe including a mortgage in Thailand and criminal record, getting anywhere with the US embassy is going to be problematic.

After realise what is Adam act is she then known she make a big mistake. Chance to live there she's given up. But why can't she apply for visiting visa?
To get her there and back I can give her all support she needs.
Can she get the child back to live with her?

  7. Wondering if someone can help me. My sibling's marriage to a US citizen few year ago and had a child together, after few year living in Bkk and my sibling's only a person who's working and provide income for family of 3 is getting hard and harder and also she's got a mortgage. they decided to that they want to go to live in USA as they want a child to had a better education in USA.

The truth is out as he's convict a serious crime and serve sentence in USA before he's came to Thailand and marriage my sibling that was reveal by US embassy and it was shocking news for all us.

The result was her visa is rejected and he's took a child to USA with him and none of these is her fault and the relationship of family only on social media. I don't understand much of this but all I want is see family be together, at lease they should have allow her to visit USA for short visit or to see her child. my question is what sort of visa and how I can help her. as now her anxieties getting worse very depressing to all of us.

Advice please Visa for a month or 2 that would be help.
