Another spoilt tantrum throwing Thai man who didnt get his way

It is for yours and everyone elses safety, it's a checkpoint not harassment, if you are lae abiding you will have no problem.

How many times have these checkpoints got drugs and guns off the streets.

Is it just me that hates seeing "Discuss" on the end of forum postings?

The value of the baht hasn't changed much but the pound has crashed after a long period of being very strong. There is no reason why the British (or others) should find Thailand to be dirt cheap just because they are used to it.

Fined the other day - No licence, and some garbage about doing a U-turn.

He had some fat, balding, black, Thai bloke trying to gain brownie points by pointing out offenders.

Anyway, the <snip> took my expired Australian drivers licence... and said he said "I'll wait for you here"

I just went home and tore, chewed on it until it was totally unrecognisable and spat it off the balcony.

Who knows what germs I ended up with.

I didn't go back to the cop or to the police station and don't plan to either.

So, what happens now??

Do they hunt me down and put me in jail???

Do they list me at immigration so when I return to Thailand it comes up after they've sighted my passport?

Or does nothing happen??

A Thai friend told me that because the motorbike is in my girlfriends name, the fine will come up when she renews the motorbike licence and she can just say she doesn't know who I am and that she hires the motorbike out to stupid farangs.

Whats the worst that could happen and what is most likely to occur.

It's artifically inflated.

Tourists don't want to come here cause the exchange rate is &lt;deleted&gt;.

It seems all currencies and economies are being devastated but Thailand is still maintaining itself... somewhat.

I'm looking for puppies and kittens in the Pattaya area.

The girlfriend is interested in petshop animals, however I've convinced that it's better to acquire an animal from a shelter or one in need of a home.

I've seen the Tony's Animal shelter adverstiment on TV and was thinking of checking it out, anybody been over and had a look??

Or does anyone have an kittens or pups and are looking at homes for em??

I bought a brand new PAL Xbox 360 Elite off Ebay for 8,000 Baht.

I live in Pattaya, and Im wondering if anyone knows where I can take it so it can be fitted with a modchip so I can play the backup games so here in Thailand.

I've heard it can be done so that wont be banned from Xbox Live.

Any direction would be most appreciated.
