You need 5 years Thai driving licence, a 1 year permission to stay, address confirmation, your passport + copies of all and a photo. Cost was 505THB or similar. It is only issued in the provincial head office, not in their branches. Done twice, a straight forward process.

Yes, they request the bank confirmation and check dates very carefully

The Myanmar visa will allow him to leave the country at Mae Sai and then re-enter the country at Mae Sot and get a visa exempt entry. They do not allow out/in crossings for a visa exempt entry at Mae Sot.
He will need get an extension of his entry at immigration office unless he wants to make a trip to Cambodia or Laos. The only crossing to Myanmar that that allows them is Ranong.
A friend of mine (on 30days visa excempt, G7 country) want to travel in Myanmar for approx 2 weeks.
He already got his visa to Burma.
He will leave Thailand in Mae Sai.
Back to Thailand he wants to enter in Mae Sot.
Will get get another 30days excempt at this border after 2 weeks stay in Myanmar?
Only out/in border crossings for a visa exempt entry are not allowed at both locations.
Thank you very much for this fast and precise info

What a nonsense.Note to self: Do not fly on China-owned airlines.
You may just count the number of domestic daily flights in China and search for the last accident they had.
Surprising good ratio, isn't it?

I have 2012 CRF250L with approx. 8400 kilometers on it that I have recently decided to part with since I don't ride it much since I bought a PCX, just have not gotten around to listing yet. Located in Chiang Mai. PM me if interested, and will give you more details.

bike should be in very good condition, without accidents.
preferred to buy from 1st owner -
No problem at all, make sure you have a re-entry permit from Thailand when you leave the country.

Unless you are a Chinese citizen or have residency in China you will not get a visa anywhere.
Not entirely true. I got a Non Imm B visa in Beijing as a non-resident, non citizen. I did have an invitation from a BOI company to come to Thailand for a job interview- with a lot of paperwork attached that they kept. Turned the Non-Imm B into a WP and a series of extensions, without having to leave Thailand for another visa.
I definitely wouldn't recommend it for as casual visa run.
As a resident of China I tried to apply for a Non O in Shanghai to get extension of stay later. It was turned down to a tourist visa.

I have 2 bikes with additional 3rd party insuarance.
For both bikes the insurance company requested a copy of the green book.

Easier if split into Ban Kha. Shows better on Bing Maps rather than Google. I don't wish to take away the discovery factor.

I made the same experience with True, no workpermit, no aircard.
After a discussion with the shop manager my thai driving licence was accepted.

some details would be nice, i.e. location, schedules etc. as your homepage doesn't mention Hua Hin
My staff is in Hua Hin already, we still however have not decided which location would be best for the school. Lots of places available for rent. Any suggestions as to the best location?
Well, so its planing only.
Would be better you start such thread AFTER your school is setup and ready to go.

better a PCX then a chinese bike, you get what u pay for.
kee way, the name mentions all.
No PCX150 or automatic anymore buddy, I want a sexy bike! But i had another thought. I guess you don't have a scooter yet. Your
girlfriend has one? If not you may want to consider a PCX150 or the
other new Honda150 scooter (dont know the price though). You can go
touring with such scooter and its great for shopping and city hopping.
Just a thought as i said
My girlfriend have a motorcycle so it will surely help sometimes for shopping.
Hope the RKV200 or TX200 will not lack too much of power for 2 people. Humm I am 77kg and my girlfirend 49kg, maybe it will be ok.. However, I am not planning to make so long trips with my girlfriend, but i t would be nice to dot it sometimes in quite good conditions.
