Why do so many people want to go to Immigration Office for 90 day??? It took me 5 minutes at the Post Office and then a short 5 day wait to receive back from Immigration! I have never had a problem doing this............

Next time I will try the internet....

Will never go to imm again for 90 day report. Received it back 5 days from time I mailed it in!!

I had operation 5 years ago at McCormick - mesh repair - stayed overnight - less expensive than Ram. Very satisfied but do not remember name of Dr.

Lived in Koolpuntville 9 for 2 years - on left just before Kad Farang. Very quiet secure mooban with large swimming pool & club house, great place for those that like to jog or walk (no traffic) Also 9 hole golf course inside of mooban. Course might be closed now as expanding to 18 holes. Nice restaurant in golf course club house area.

Tuesday 9th Sept - arrived at 10:30 they were on #522 my #555 and received 90 day at 11:55..... Office very busy but still received 90 day in 90 minutes.

The Social Security Administration periodically sends Form SSA-7162 to a beneficiary living outside the United States to figure out if the beneficiary is still eligible to receive benefits. When you receive this form, you should answer the questionnaire and return it to the office that sent it as soon as possible. The form will include instructions in English and Spanish and provide the address where you need to return the form. Generally, a self-addressed envelope is enclosed, too. All you need to do is affix postage and mail it. If you do not return this form in a timely manner, your payments will stop.

If you did not sign and send in the yearly form to S.S. they will withhold your check. This happened to me and after they receive the form it took 2 months to start receiving my check again.

Ate at Ragu this week and was not impressed. Had the Italian Sausage and it was very dry, almost like it had been cooked up a day ahead of time and then reheated. Garlic bread was very good. I will give them a 2nd chance and go back and try one of the Ragu dishes. As for the bar, I asked for a mixed drink and was told the bartender had already gone home!! This was at 20:30??

For the last 3 years I have paid 1 year in advance. Regular monthly 15,000 Baht/month but reduced to 10,700 by paying year in advance. Great savings...... Apartment is not in Old City but in Nimman Area.

A friend and I ate at Francesca's Pizzeria last night and pizza was very good. Luca is the Italian owner and went out of his way to make the meal enjoyable. Even gave us a free sample of the garlic bread and an after dinner liquor. Everything is home made from the fresh tomato sauce to a great Caesar Salad dressing. Will be going back to try the pastas.

After looking for a couple of months I just rented a condo in PS Mansions 2 http://psmansion.com/ click on the Mansions 1 and Mansions 2 is at bottom of web page. New Condo - Great rates including basic cable t.v., cable internet, pool, nice exercise room, balconey, no condo fee, Great location near Nimminhamen area on Huey Kaow Road. They need to improve on web site as not enough pictures inside units and of facilities. I have more pics of condo and rooms if interested let me know.

That's a new place that has been shuttered for weeks, I've never seen it open. I don't know if they're slowly getting it ready to open or if they somehow went out of business before the ever opened.

It always amazes me how much farangs complain about how Thailand is not like "home." They don't speak English here! How can they eat that food? Don't they know how to do things the right way? What's wrong with these people?
