Did you double check that with immigration? I think they might issue a residence certificate based on different criteria depending on what it's for.
For example, many people are able to purchase a car and to register it you do need a certificate of residence. There are lots of people who only come on tourist visas yet they have cars at their second (winter) homes.
If you explain why you want the certificate they might issue one as they know it's a requirement but that would depend on which province you're located in I guess.
I went directly in Bkk immigration asking for a residence certificate. It's not possible without 1yr visa there.. ????

I have bought and sold many cars and bikes on a tourist visa over the years
Where? Bangkok?
I still have problem with that.
I cant get resident certificare from Immigration (I don't have 1yr visa). I cant get from embassy (they cannot do that with tourist visa).
Do you know an agency that can help me with this in bkk?

Bigger and most secure BTC exchange in thai is -> Bitkub
I opened my account and for entry level verification you just need to send passport.
I hope they haven't changed the procedures lately. Btw I would start from bitkub for high volume traffic

It depends on which province you live in as to whether they require a certificate from the seller or not..please let us know your province.

Hi, I bought a car when I opened a company in thai. After two years I close it and now I need to sell my car. I read that I need residence certificate but I cannot do it because now I have tourist visa (6 months. metv).
What can I do?
Thanks!

not sure as i only use my bank from back home. no money in thai banks for me thanks. you could send the money via wire transfer to a thai bank with delay though.
i imagine you should be able to set up a coinfield account with a thai bank connected to the account. then you may be able to send the money to the thai bank much faster.
Coinfield = no SEC license = no BTC/THB = no direct wire transfer to Thai bank

put a link to www.bitkub.com so he gets either a discount/fees on anyone who uses that link.
Plus he is wrong. Nothing wrong Coinfield.
What he is doing is dishonest & sleazy.
Click on the link, his email address is on the page.
Naughty , naughty..
It's just a referral link ???? Are you ok?
Coinfield doesn't have BTC -> THB pair. I was just suggesting official Thailand exchange with SEC license please relax yourself ????

In thai we have 3 official (licensed by SEC) exchange and 1 broker.
3 official exchange: Bx.in.th (bitcoin co.ltd.), Bitkub and Satang corporation (satang pro).
1 broker: Coins TH
The best exchange after Bx is Bitkub -> Bitkub exchange
I hope all volumes from bx will move there

It's funny that all car dealers that I contacted asked me for a valid resident certificate by embassy or immigration (condo owner certificate is not valid).
