  1. I'm looking for someone to help me with various "office" tasks over the internet.

Has to be someone internet and computer savvy with English as native language, some one who can write and proof.

At this point I need about 20 hours of help each week, mostly evenings.

Please include your CV, why you think I should hire you and your salary requirement.

  2. Hi,

My dear friend asked me to help her find 3 masseuses that she can hire for one year contract to work in Moldavia. She is ready to provide competitive salary, 3 room apartment, and round trip tickets as well as work visa. No sex. Masseuses should speak some English and have 1+ years of experience.

To my embarrassment I have no clue where to find such employees. Any advice?

  3. I need shoes not candies!

And children shoes are terrible in Thailand, low quality, bad selection and worst materials. On top of it my son also has high arch, so it's nearly impossible to find anything half decent for him.

No you could not fake the package from Amazon if you don't even give your address. Just simply add the item into your Amazon wish list where enyone can buy it FOR you but without knowing anything about you.

When there is a will there is a way!

  4. C'mon people - how often someone asked to take a pair of kids shows with drugs from USA? Get off the paranoia already. Just few months ago same way I ordered some protein mix from amazon for a body builder who now lives in PTT. Obvusly I took it off the Amazon box and put into a regular bag. The guy transferred the price of the package to my payapal - and then stopped by in PTT to pick it up. How simple and helpful. I'm surprised to get this kind of reaction.

  5. Hello Bangkok Crowd!

I'm mostly a reader here, but this time I need help. I need to send a small package from New York City to Pattaya. I go every couple month back and force myself and will be happy to return the favor. Can also arrange a pick up from BKK including the airport.

If you are concerned about something fishy in the package, I can arrange delivery from Amazon directly.

PS: If there a better place to place this please let me know.

  7. What about BBQed catfish, chicken liver and hearts? Smoked chicken is made on markets in a big clay pots with metal cover, no carbs there.

PS: Try South Beach diet instead, it's much easier on your and more Thailand-friendly

  8. I see overall lack of qulity and speacility items. Even if they are available, no common, they are overpriced

    For a kid:

    Books and workbooks

    Decent quality shoes and sneakers

    Cotton socks and underwear

    Carnival costumes

Decent quality inflatable pool toys and lounges

    Party plates for birthday

    Soap-free shower gel

    For us:

Kindle (so now I can read what I want not what's available)

    WiFi Booster and Finder

Good quality swimming suites for girls and woman

300+ thread cotton sheets, American type with 2nd sheet is the best (all sizes)

    Concentrated organic all-purpose cleaner

Knives, silverware, kitchen utensils, dutch oven, pans

Natural material shoes and clothing (in States shopping is so much better)

Aveda hair products and hair color if you not a L'oreal/Wella fan

Fresh OPI nail polish, buffs, other nail stuff if u r DIY (I'm, some times)

Cheese (usually bring 3kg at the time), spices

PS: Tampax can be easily replaced with Boot's brand tampons. Had no problem finding soda, buckwheat, pasta, olive oil, etc.

  9. Years ago, when I started in Thailand and had more money than common sense, I worked two years without a work permit. But now, I would not start a long term contract, full time, without full assurance of a WP, with active evidence they had submitted it within a week.

But for a part time or temporary gig with an outfit you already know and trust, no more than say summer school, I would not expect a work permit.

Work permit would be provided to a right candidate.

  10. Can someone recommend, good and well-educated teacher with native British English and experience teaching primary school? This is a permanent position (for 3-4 years) teaching 1 or 2 7-yrs old kid(s) elementary school program with some extras. Work in Pattaya, probobly 5 days a week until 3 PM.

I have a gmail account as webtsarina (just as a hint of my email address), please email me, as I'm not freqesnt at the forum.

  11. I'm in Chanbury. Our thai maid and thai gardener both say it's poisonous. I doubt it's a python, the head is too small. When we try to kill is it charge and when hit in the neck/head area it 'spitted' milk-like liquid. When killed, we were able to see a long sharp hook-like tooth, looks like venomous one. Any educated guesses?
