  1. The total of petitions now exceed six (6) million.

That mean about 10% of the population has signed the petition yet nobody has noticed a request to sign in the past weeks or knows how the petitions look like. :)

The red leaders talk about the petition on Truth Today Monday through Friday for more than 1 month. They still talk about that subject now until 17th August. After submitting, they will no longer talk about this petition. They read the entire petition, explained it is legal as said in Constitution Law, and said who don't understand or don't support the idea don't need to sign. They told the online address for the reds to download. They have one copy in each Truth Today Magazine. They brought the forms to red meetings in provinces so people could come, read and sign and at the same time they explained on the stage in the meetings.

The wording is the easiest Thai for even an uneducated labor can understand with no effort.

What they do is open. No one is forced or paid to sign. They don't accept more petition after 31st July as they keep their word. If you see the reds signing something in the meeting now, it's another form to show the support if the person could not sign the petition.

  2. the waste goes directly into the earth

The house we have been living in for 30 years has this bottomless tanks. They are big and will never can be full. The waste will become some kind of "soil". Waste goes into the earth.

I think currently people prefer the plastic tank. When it is full, they'll hire someone to bring truck in to suck.

  3. n the 1990s Thaksin hid millions of baht's worth of shares in the names of his gardener, maid and driver. His only explanation was 'a honest mistake'. Other people might think it was to manipulate stock and avoid taxes.

Thaksin bought a very nice car for a minister in the military junta of 1991 to 1992 to thank him for a commumications contract.

Thaksin's lawyers gave 2 million baht in a snack box to court officials in 20008

In 2009 Thaksin went to see the military coup leader of Fiji to discuss opportunities for investment and a safe haven.

Apisit has a long way to go to sink to this level in ethics.

When buying and selling stock, you don't need to pay tax.

People can list a lot of Khun Thaksin's "sins" because they don't love him. And sure Khun Thaksin is not the only one in Thailand who might did that. I said "might" because I don't believe he did all of what you list.

I just wonder why they didn't bring out serious cases to judge.

After so long, they only could bring out the only case which was the land case. Buyer correct. Seller correct. But buyer's husband must be in jail. Not enough to prove Khun Thaksin is bad to me. This is why his supporters are growing huge like you see today.

Because Khun Thaksin's supporters are too huge, his enemies are too scared. They do everything to stop the reds. But they still cannot. They only can make themselves happy by telling themselves "the reds are paid to do so".

What will be the topics for the next poll?

  4. Thaksin knows full well a pardon is impossible, why have none of his family signed the petition by the way?

It's just a chance to show his popularity and to pressurise the King.

His game won't work and will only make more people despise his total lack of morality

Let me attach the petition here for you to read.

    Petition_Offline_1_2.pdfPetition_Offline_3.pdf

It says the people who sign have big problems and the only man they hope can solve their problems is Khun Thaksin, so they seek Royal pardon for Khun Thaksin.

The red leaders asked Khun Thaksin's family not to sign because this is the reds' petition and this is not Khun Thaksin's petition or Khun Thaksin's family's petition.

No pressure at all. The reds said if within one month they couldn't get 1 million signatures, they consider the grievances they have are too small to bother the King. As they got almost 6 million signatures, they have shown their grievances are big and they need help. Government cannot help them. They must find alternative.

  5. Yes, re-arrange the legal prerequisites...change the law to fit your agenda, how wonderful.

This is the 'democracy' the Reds seek.

Which law did they change or want to change? Don't they have to go through the Parliament?

What "democracy" do the Yellows seek? From what I see from their protests, I understand the Yellows seem to classify "This ones are stupid whose votes should not be trusted. This ones are not stupid, can vote. The stupid ones can vote 30%. Let the not stupid ones vote 70%".

  6. Polls are nice, but elections are better. A little harder to manipulate the outcome as well.

"Just a little bid"... depends who you are...

But you are right sometimes it is easier to manipulate the people.... :)

Strangely if Khun Thaksin's side wins, many will say "bought votes". But if Democrat's side wins, they don't say so.

I thought many politicians asked people in Isaan vote for them "to bring Khun Thaksin back" but recently they're not with Peua Thai. So did they use Khun Thaksin's name to find votes?

  7. You do realize if Newin gets nailed, several of Thaksin's Cabinet members and appointees

will get nailed at the same time and the trail of payments may lead to your reddened leader himself.

Newin Goes; most of the rest go too, and they are ALL on your RED team, tootsie roll.

Newin will likely remain in the same positions he is in now.

But bets are good that he will have the balls to STAY in the country and serve his

short stay at a lower class hotel... unlike dear leader Square Red Face.

I have no problem. Who did wrong must be punished including Khun Thaksin. All I need is no exception and all cases should be judged in a timely manner, not to be kept in file until expire.

    Let's wait for the 17th.

  8. The red leaders said one big group used the same format but reduced to 2 pages. I don't know how many they had.

Maybe we can help drawing a strategy how the reds can physically carry almost 6 million petitions to submit and how long that process will take. They plan to submit at 13:30. I guess they need muscular handsome men to take turn because 10,000 petitions in 1 box is heavy. They may need some hot ladies in red to stir the atmosphere up.
