Hi Firstly thank you very much for your replies. I write this as the windows vibrate !!!! The chances of organising a group of Thais to protest together is not good. They complain amongst themselves but standing out from a crowd is not on . We have many trees which do not stop base sounds - we are lucky ( ??? ) the noise hours usually stop at 10pm and start 7 am. Many people have approached him and his family but no effect. The plan at the moment is to go motorbiking North Vietnam for a month then return and go to my country for 6 months. !!!!! I think in this situation you just have to put up with it and escape from it when it becomes too much. Thanks for all your replies

Hi. We have a young male living about 100 meters from our semirural house who has started rigging up these loud radio systems in cars. His vehicle is a pickup where the tray part is full of speakers. Now he has started outfitting other cars as well. The usual answer to this is move house -that is not an option. We have approached the tesabarn maybe 20 times over the several years of the problem but they have demonstrated that they have very little power. Does anyone have an answer ? What is the procedure with the police ? Has anyone approached them with a similar problem ? I know money would be involved. It is also quite important that it is done anonymously becos there may be a possibility of violence. Any suggestions would be appreciated as long as they are constructive. I am also interested with going down the police approach if anyone has had a similar experience. I know this topic has been brought up before but here is hoping !!!

thanks for the replies you guys. The requirement for having 400000 baht in a bank here is a waste of potential income in your own country for the year marriage visa. I think I will go with the sweet talking recommendation and try and get a mutiple entry visa based on history and situation. Should be able to muster a pretty sweet smile after 6 months in NZ !!!!

Hi
Have been on a marriage visa for the last 2 years. Now my wife and I want to spend approx 6 months in NZ and 6 months in Thailand. I am fairly sure that the Thai embassy in Wgtn will only issue single entry 3 month visa. What recommendations do people have to make it easy and where to go for extensions etc.
Thanks

I live in Surathani and have subscribed to True Tv but am extremely dissapointed. I am from " down under " and want to sit in my favourite armchair and watch proper sports like rugby union or league and cricket etc. That does not include soccer !! What is the best sattelite coverage for my needs . I would appreciate any feedback - thanks

Hi you guys
There is a little hope on the horizon I have suddenly found out. A local thai woman has had to get out of her restaurant and she has started building a new one next door to this thai boy. I am reasonably sure that she will object very strongly to the noise and so it could be interesting for a short time but I know the thai woman has some good connections -- so the result will be thai v thai which makes no room for a farang !!!!!!! Thanks u guys again could be a good ending.
