Just got back from the cinema, I really enjoyed the movie, A good way to spend an afternoon. Quality line of the movie " Bangkok, currupt, dirty, dence" says it all really.....

I was here on holiday for it last year and went down to Narawat bridge, which was ok as long as you dont mind fireworks going off near you all the time.

Mrclough here from yorkshire, as from today living in Chiang Mai. Interested in travel and Football (soccer) and basically having a good time, while im here in Thailand which will be hopefully for as long as i can handle it.

No, they don't need a passport and neither do foreigners. For Thais their photo ID should be fine. Whenever I travel domestically I leave the passport home (bring a copy) and just use my Thai driver's license for check in. Never even had a second thought from the workers.

Im the same, only ever take a copy and my origional thai driving license, I have never had a problem yet. In answer to the OP my wife just uses her I.D card when flying internally.
