Summer has already started in Thailand. Summer is March, April & May. Rainy season is from June to October/November.
On the east coast islands, the main rainy season is October > December. -
Utter drivel. Just peddling the stereotypical view of Thailand.
Get out of the bars chaps, go and meat some 'real' Thais in the 'real' Thailand.- 2

You can still carry/transmit the disease even after the vaccination. It's the population of the country being visited that needs to be fully vaccinated.

On repatriation flights, the Thais don't need to have a negative covid test before boarding, just the foreigners.
Then you're packed in all together for 8-12 hours, absolutely no social distancing.- 6

They will do whatever it takes to deflect from the fact it's 99% probable this was transmitted from a Thai while she was en route from BKK to Samui.
There's virtually NO testing here, we will never know how many people are infected.- 1

If people have to get covid tested and do 14 days quarantine when they arrive, it shouldn't matter where they come from! ????

Why any frequent flyers book BKK XXX BKK...... instead of XXX BKK XXX baffles me fights originating outside thailand are much cheaper
Doesn't work for me sadly, I live and work here and only go home every few years.

Just do a quick search for BKK > LON > BKK
Qatar - 18,500 THB
Emirates - 21,700 THB
BA - 23,700 THB
THAI - 32,400 THB
It's not a difficult to see where the problem lies !!! ????- 2

The teacher "was transferred".... this sums up Thailand perfectly.
Anywhere else in the world, he'd be sitting in a cell..!!- 1

I think people should be made aware of her movements
authorities in Thailand should be retracing exactly what she did when and where
That would make far too much sense!

Hi All. Does anyone know if the 6 month passport rule applies for a Thai national entering back into Thailand.
To be brief, I'm taking my son back to the UK in March, returning in April. He has a UK passport which is all good, however his Thai passport expires in July this year. Is it an issue for him getting back into Thailand.
I wouldn't think it would be as this is his home country, however I would like to double check and I can't find any info on this.
Thanks in advance. -
Have to agree with most people on here. Go to the airport VERY early and straight to Immigration. Plead you case with them and I would suggest taking a lawyer with you.
Good luck!

If you can stock Waitrose tea bags (available at Tops markets all over BKK) then i'd order a shed load. Can't get them where I am and I get to BKK rarely.
Happy to pay whatever it costs to deliver. -
Nice one chaps, cheers.
