    This is similar to the situation where people insist on speaking Welsh in the UK where the question is why.

    It would help if the police actually patrolled the roads as they do in just about every other country in the world.

    That applies to most tourist spots in Thailand. The nightlife was certainly there 35 years ago but visitors now have no idea what they missed.
