  1. I had both a paper book and digital WP. It wasn't a problem. Just provided screen shots from the WP app on my phone.
  2. The yellow book process is extremely fast an easy provided you have an owner of a property who will let you register at their address. The most painful part is taking your passport to your embassy to get a certified copy and then taking it for an official and certified Thai translation. The certified Thai translation can be done using an online service and they will mail you the originals in 3 working days. Very painless now. Once the documents are submitted at the District office the yellow book and pink ID card are done immediately. My whole process took just a few days to complete.
  3. Once you get the yellow book they will issue the pink ID card. I got one many years ago when they were first announced for foreigners
  4. This is why I stated in this forum a few times I was told do not cancel your work permit or Visa until you have the declaration in hand and register at the District Office. They can ask for these documents at any stage in the process until the end.
  5. He was in the same batch as me then
  6. That's strange. I got the letter from SB once everything was 100% completed and told to pay my 500thb to pick up my Certificate, following the RG announcement
  7. I know for a fact foreigners married to Thais with kids definitely moves faster. Couple of people I know applied close to the time I did and they got their Citizenship long before me
  8. Marriage When I went to the District Office in Chatuchak for my ID card registration they wanted all the details of my employment.
  9. You need to maintain it until you get the Citizenship document from SB and register for your ID card. They were very specific on that
  10. First part I can't remember, but from the interview until I got my ID card, slightly more than 2 years
  11. Afternoon all, Extremely happy to report I finally got my Thai ID card yesterday. Took 2 1/2 hours. Can't believe all the paperwork that needed to be processed and signed 😂 Felt like applying for my Citizenship again. Ironically, ran over to MBK to get my passport and the registration took only 10 min and the passport is coming today! Time to celebrate 🎉 🎊 🥳
  12. First time. I have a yellow Tabien Baan at that address currently.
  13. At 8:30am this morning I picked up my Citizenship Certificate and other documents from the SB 😊😍💯❤️🤗 I immediately went to meet officials at the Chatuchak District Office. They were very nice, reviewed all the documents, made copies, ensured they had the Royal Gazette announcement. Then they informed me they need photos of me, my wife and the owner of the house registration book, inside and outside of the house, and that they MUST come themselves in person to be interviewed with me and my wife by the Head of the District Office before they will allow registration into the blue book and issue the ID card. They cannot give a POA to anyone. Unfortunately, I will have to wait until the middle of next month before the head of the district office is available to do this.
  14. There were 77 names in my batch, which were signed by HMK in Aug last year. SB didn't notify us to swear in until late Oct. I know some people were overseas and the final batch was only sent to Anutin in Feb.
  15. Maybe it was 2019 then. Sorry, I was going from memory 😅
  16. Applied in 2018, MOI meeting was 2022.
  17. Good to know, thanks. I'm traveling quite a bit the next several weeks so will need to block some time to get it all done
  18. Yes, mine is there as well. Will call SB tomorrow to see how long before I can get the certificate 😁🥰🙏
  19. 211 people just issued Citizenship 💯🎉🎊👏🥰🥂 https://www.matichon.co.th/local/news_4534146
  20. Funny enough, we got a message from SB 3 hours ago that everyone on the latest list from the Palace has finished swearing in and all paperwork being prepared to send to Anutin for signature and then publication.
  21. I wonder if that means Anutin won't release the RG announcement for the completed ones too 😞
  22. Another friend of mine who just started the process last year completed his NIA interview and his documents have been sent to the MOI. I'm still waiting for the RG announcement for mine to be completed. No news from SB on that as of yesterday.
  23. That's because there isn't much movement at the moment on anyone's applications, the queue at MOI for the final interviews is extremely long, and the Palace has only sent one batch of approved applications for Oaths to the SB in more than 1 year
