My afternoon coffee's at Siam Square will never be the same!!

Anyone know a good place to buy an office chair in Bangkok? I want one with wheels, fabric-covered, not with a high back. Seen rubbish ones in Homepro, Big C etc. but want something better as I'm sat at this computer for many hours a day. Thanks!

Why is it so tough to find some decent (OK looking/Modern/reasonable price) furniture in Bangkok?

There is for some weird reason no IKEA here? Why not? and the Habitat is overpriced and the staff is totally ignorant..... Can anyone PLEASE help me find some furniture IKEA/Habitat style somewhere in Bangkok, preferable a place with a website soI can SHOP- PAY - and they deliver. Spending money is so HARD!

P.S.

I actually went to habitat at Siam Square but the habitat staff told me that since I wanted so many different things I should go to their website instead an do the order on-line.... tried that. no luck. Simply cant believe it

Am I really the only one with this issue?

I am furnishing my new condo in Jomtien and would like to know where there are some nice furniture shops in Pattaya. I know all about Index, SB, HomePro etc so no need for info on these.

I am also not really interested in the wooden Asian style, good quality or not, that I see in many shops - they are nice but I want a modern style to my condo, not a Thai or Bali style.

I particularly need a Queen size bed, which is less common, and a 2-seater settee/sofa. I am not interested in built-in beds or sofa beds.

Where can you buy 250 threads (or even higher quality) cotton linen in Bangkok?

Maybe one has to go to a hotel supplier, does anyone know one?

Are the Sheratons linens not better than 250 threads? They are amazing and I have been wanting the same ones for so long but could never find any of the same quality in any department store.

I usually buy the ones with the highest thread count they have but at home they are never ever the same heavy quality as the ones they have in 5 star hotels ...

Actually the Sheraton, Pininsular, Westin, and JW marriott use Egyptian cotton ranging from 250 - 400 thread count. They also have a mix of hungarian duck/goose feather products. I know this because my partner company supplies them.
