I tried to apply the Cert of Entry (COE) via https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/
Everything was fine until I entered "overseas mobile number", no matter I tried to enter the country code and mobile number directly, add a + before, put the country code inside ( ), it showed an error message.
I tried to ignore this and submit but failed.
Anyone has encounter this technical problem and how to fix it?
thank you

Is this not the STV visa? It's an extendable (2x) 90 day visa for a whopping total of 270 days
It resumes the usual tourist visa with additional requirements similar to STV applied on it, saying 500K baht in your bank, insurance, 72 hrs pre-departure covid test, COE
More targets at medium risk countries. Single entry, extended one time only for 30 more days.

I plan to apply for a 60 days tourist visa to enter Thailand next month. US$100,000 coverage of travel insurance is the requirement.
I have found this website- Thai General Insurance Association. Has any one bought travel insurance online there? No choice of tourist visa but STV, which is quoted instantly 3840 Baht for 90 days.
Is the price acceptable? Is the coverage fine for tourist visa? (90 days insurance coverage is fine for me, as I may extend my stay for 1-2 weeks later.
Any other suggestion of insurance provider? Thank you

An alternative is to consider the new 9 months (3x3) Longstay visa path, very likely to be introduced in Oct.

A elite visa holder still needs to follow the COE procedure, no COVID-19 check 72 hrs b4 boarding, fit for travel cert, insurance and upon arrival 14-day quarantine
Seemed some Elite card holders for the UK were refused boarding at the airport. They might have just buy a ticket and went directly to the airport w/o going thro' the application procedure via the Thai embassy.
Elite card is not a free pass to return to Thailand. (Pattaya Mail, August 4, 2020)

Just checked for my age-category (63 years).
A 1-month covid-19 insurance with 100.000 US $ coverage and 5.000 US $ deductible, would cost 81.22 US $, using .
Now the only question remaining is whether there is a minimum time requirement for such covid-19 insurance to meet the thai re-entry requirement?
I go to the website of "Safe Travels International Cost Saver insurance" (www.trawickinternational.com). I am about to click to pay but no details of the policy can be read. I need to ensure the appearance of the above COVID-19 terms in the insurance policy.
Where did you find the above "Int'l COVID-19 medical coverage by Safe Travels Int'l Cost Saver Insurance" in pink color box?

The American Visitor Insurance website does not work.
After I had input all the info and a policy was produced, I clicked the buy button, the error message turned out as follow:Internal Server Error Error 500
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from completing your request.I tried several times in different days and finally gave it up.

How to get the quota prior to departure? My passport is entitled to visa exemption to enter Thailand (under normal situation), Or, the visitors must apply for a business visa in advance? Seem that medical cert and insurance are not mandatory.
"One thousand foreign visitors are expected to be allowed entry to Thailand per day and the standard 14-day Covid-19 quarantine rule will be waived, according to an implementation plan for "travel bubbles" to be submitted for the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA)'s approval on Wednesday.... These visitors, who in the beginning will be mostly business people...." Quoted from Bangkok Post June 15, 2020.

Chiang Mai, the only place you can find "real" cool season. It snows (hail, to be exact) on the mountain top in some days in December or January.

Is it possible to rent a house or a flat in Bukit Indah and drive daily back to Singapore to work via the 2nd link in Tuas?
Bukit Indah the well planned new town in Johor is likely very beautiful. How much is the rent there?
But Singapore and Malaysia is arguing about car toll increase recently.

I cannot recall the name of street. When I browse thro' the map online, I find the street likely to be Rue Samsenthai.

Working visa holders are allowed to go thro' e- channels of the Singapore Immigration, same as citizen and PR."You may think of staying in Johor Baru or Batam Island and working in Singapore, if you don't need to work every morning."
Some of my (Malaysian) work mates used to live in Johor, travel to Singapore - do a 12 hour shift, then travel back. In fact 1000's of Malaysians do this everyday.
If you're not Malay or Singaporean, you would fill your passport up within a couple of months.
I heard that, but not sure, Malaysian immigration offers an e-enter option for a reasonable fee. Put a sticker without stamp on the passport.

There have been clean up activities taking place in Angeles City this year making the atmosphere very different, including the recent widely reported arrest/transport to Manila and detention of bar customers, that may be leading to some previous travelers flying to different locations.
For the specific Bangkok leg suspect the months of security warnings have not played a positive role for travel either.
"detention of bar customers"? for what? drunken drving? indoor smoking? prostitution?

Insurance required by TP is US$10,000 premium, 30 days coverage, from 650 Baht the cheapest.
But I need a 60-day tourist visa, the requirment still staying US$50,000 premium (visa requirment). Do I need a coverage of 60 days? Not cheap, 3-4k baht up.
Did anyone try out using the cheapest 650 baht insurance and get a tourist visa?
