Today,Sunday, I was a member off the testingteam for the 2020 catch Dutch New Herring

and I can tell you they are great,with a good amount of the healthy omega 3 fat.

For the 8th consecutive year, Dutch Snacks Thailand organizes the annual New Herring 2020 party, this year with the collaboration of Sheryle's Restaurant Rathwithi Road Chiang Mai,on Wednesday 24 June.
To ensure social distance the event is spread out over several more hours, unlike previous years, and be held on 2 floors. The customers will be asked to follow instructions from the staff to keep the social distance at all times.
The event starts at 5 pm on the ground floor at Sheryle's Restaurant and will last till 9 pm. The guests can enjoy the New Herring catch 2020 in combination with or without bread, pickles, and onion. According to the first reports, the catch of 2020 New Herring has a high-fat percentage and lightly salted. The Herring sold on this event is specially selected for Dutch Snacks Thailand.

So I recommend not to try to be there when the place opens, just arrive at around 10:00 or later and have a much more relaxed experience.

 

As for the process inside, they changed the whole layout - when your number is called you don't go and sit in front of the immigration officer's desk anymore, you hand in your documents through a window. Any additional signatures, payment etc are all done through that window. No special requests were made regarding the documents. The officer also handled my 90 days report stamp with no fine due to the amnesty. I didn't have to queue again for that.

Thanks for that XGM.We cannot come before 8 o"clock this year.Last year,we were there at 7.30, was send back to bank for update bankbook,I did it the day before together with the bankstatement as for 10 years. They needed it now from the same day.When we came back,was send home again for photo nr 3 in the bedroom,always 2 was OK.

Yes you can still do the 90 days by mail,I did mine 2 weeks ago.

went to the PEA office in Doi Saket to pay the April bill.The Febr bill was 2065 baht and the April bill was 2826 baht,we had to pay for the April bill 1482 baht.

The missing message that says to contact you local office means your record could not be found. It can be due to an error when entering one of the required fields. Or an entry prior to 2013 or a new passport since you last entry.

It has to be in all caps but it changes what you enter to caps as you complete the application.

I did fill out the first page and tried to go to the second and had a blank page,then I pressed F5(I did read that)but it still kept blank.tried 2 times,then did it bij post(for many years already)

That;s when things started to go wrong.  I know you are asking "really that's when they started to go wrong?? . any way , more wrong than usual. 

Pizza did not want to slide of the wood and on my pizza stone in the 450 F oven

Anyway after many acrobatics i got the pizza in the oven, 

My mistake was trying to make it thin crust. 

It is in the oven now so stay tuned.

Might kill the virus but leave the mask intact .

 

Gardeners who use eggshells in their garden often micro wave them first to kill of bacteria.

 

I actually have a cloth one which I wash in detol then dry in the sun. When dry the mask still has a little of the detol smell.

 

And don't forget , masks may not offer much protection to the wearer but they are much better and preventing the spread of the virus to others.

I put the mask in the microwave to kill the bacteria, 1 min on full capacity.I do the same with the sponge

for cleaning the dishes.

[I would note that once I intentionally mailed by 90-day report 11 days before expiration and had no problem doing so (I did it to make sure the new reporting date was dated a day or two after I was taking a trip out of the country).   It worked for me but may not for you.]

this was the 10 th time for the mariage extension and the last 3 years they needed everytime something extra,photo and then copy off all the bankbook pages,update bankbook from the SAME day,I had the letter from day before and yes I was send back to the bank.

2 month ago I had foto nr 2 and 3 and was send back home for a 3 th picture in the bedroom with the two off us.Here in Chiang Mai.

I came in at 7.30 for my extension and after it was my turn,was told I had to update my bankbook NOW.

I had the bankletter from the day before,same as 10 times before.Tried to say I came here at 7.30 and the bank was then closed.Was also told now need 3 pictures one extra in the bedroom with 2 people,which is difficult to do when you are only with 2 people,so had to ask the neighbor.
