Thinking of going on an overnight train Bkk to Koh Samui......well to the ferry port then to catch the ferry. Has anyone got any comments about catching the overnight train, 2nd class with a/c? As im giving BKK a miss now im going to head to Pattaya, is there a bus from BKK airport to Pattaya...i land around 7pm ish at BKK airport. Ive goggle'd but cannot find any timetables. If i cannot get a bus at this time what is a reasonable price to pay by taxi to Pattaya?

Im in the UK (dodging the ash) at present and now need to return back to BKK. Because of the troubles etc in BKK ive heard some planes are almost empty that are flying there. As im a scrote does anyone know how i could purchase some cheap flights or if anyone has heard that seats may be going cheap? Ive done the skyscanner etc thing and the flights are no cheaper than normal.

Possibly the same location my wife and I use. Certainly the beach bar we use at Khao Khad is sand in the toes, 50 baht beer, good food and cool music. Our dogs are regulars, in fact the owners made us a private cabana so the dogs don't wander into the general area to shake themselves after swimming. Most chilled place in Phuket.

Oh yes, we have seen you many times then. Your two dogs sit in the water for hours cooling off. We have some lovely pics of them doing just that. I could sit there watching them for hours. What a great place. We will come and say hello if you are there next time we go

Been ill all week and today started with a fever and sickness. I was hopitalised with dengue in Nam last year so may need to make the decision if/when to take a trip to the hospital to have blood tests and a check up. As a scrote and new to the area where can i go as i have no insurance and that is not going to rip me off and provide me with good medical advice.

Thinking of visiting the (Y)UK next month and is after any advice on which airlines to use. I am a scrote so the cheaper the better.....cattle class all the way! Im in Phuket and would prefer a connecting flight instead of 2 separate flights. I know Air asia from KL to Stanny is cheap but its not a connecting flight but any advice would be useful....

Having spent the last 2 years in Vietnam i can see they have the best solution to this problem..................approach the island with your hand on the horn, do not give way and to take the easiest route around the island whether it be clockwise or anti clockwise around the island, without hesitation.........if you have experienced Vietnam traffic islands trust me Thailand ones are bliss in comparison.

Owned by Italians very good food and in my opinion best pizza in town and at 150BHT very good value. The downside is the ambience or lack of it as its a terraced cottage in the back of beyond hence the prices but well worth a visit. I did put a little review of this place in the restaurant section. And before all you moaning gits start no i dont own it, i dont know the owners, iam not Italian
