I had a friend who had two full sleeves done. The work was high quality & the artist had a clean studio in which he worked out of. I have heard of many other good reviews of this gent as well. Try a google search of "mr x dragon tattoo" as i believe he moved since my mate got his done but he is still in Pattaya somewhere.

I can confirm Ex@ DragonKing Tattoo is a great tattooist.You are correct he has now moved on has a shop on Soi Bukaow.

I can recommend Chareon Hotel as well.Stayed there last year with no issues.It is situated round the corner from the bus station

Its a few months away but in December myself and my partner moving to Thailand for 6 months ...... kind of a long holiday......

ANYWAY i need to get some work done to a tattoo on my arm, it will be a full sleeve and involves lots of portraits

Anyone have any experience in this field ?? i am looking for a tattooist with a good reputation for doing portraits....

i could need up to 10 hours work and this would set me back probably £800 pounds Uk (43,000 THB) so i am also thinking it will be a lot cheaper over there .....

any help appriciated

Its a bit early in the year to give you a definite date " i Will post a definite date later in the year or when the amphurs office release one"

But as a guide the 16th of febuary is usualy included in the week or so of festivities

Can anyone please tell me the dates of the That Phanom Festival in 2010?,I think it's in Jan or Feb but not certain of the month or the dates.

Ex-pat American guy called Darryl is the man to see. He has a shop just off Theprarsit road and his work is unbelievable. My husband is in the middle of getting (another) one done and he'll be doing a rework of my old one. He also does excellent work on women, including my sister-inlaw (custom tiger & cherry blossom design) who won a competition at a tatt show in Australia.

Due to the credit crunch and also possible job loss,I am looking at different options to get to our house in Isaan.

We mormally fly to Sakon Nahkon or Nakon Phanom with PB Air and get picked up for there.I have checked and it's approx 8000 bht for myself ,wife and daughter.To be honest don't fancy sitting in a bus or mini bus for a long time but it all comes down to money.I am going to check out how much flights are to Udon as they seem to be cheaper,we can get a bus from there to That Phanom.

I was taking tramadol for 6 month after an operation,good pain killers but hard to get off them.

For a week after I stopped taking them I had flu like symptons.suppose was was doing a bit of cold turkey.They are a synthetic opiate used as a strong pain killer.
