  1. My life seems to be in the same place as yours. First week of next month I am moving back to Pattaya after 7 years away. Even though I am an old,fat fart, I still enjoy pleasures of the flesh and Pattaya has soo much more to offer than Chiang Mai.

As far what to do everyday, build something, a boat is my plan. If you can use a screwdriver and a hammer, you can build one also. I have recently bought most of the tools needed for the job. It is time to rejoin the living.

    Good Luck

  2. As a former resident of Pattaya, I wonder if maps are even available that show the flood plain in and around Pattaya. My quess is NO. Here in ChiangMai there is a map that covers a good portion of the city. My heart goes put to all of you guys who were flooded.

  3. Some 20 yr ago, my wifes company had a plant in Mexico and she had an oppertunity to observe these folks in action. This was a factory setting with over 500 employees. If the employee decided not to go in for work, he would send in a replacement.

This could be an older man or woman or some full size kid who had quit school. She said that every day was a cluster <deleted>>.

  4. The government needs to do an audit, of the person who died, past lifestyle. These local farmers spray all sorts of chemicals with no protection at all.

I personally lived about 3 miles or so as the crow flies, from this mine, for some 2 1/2 year. The wife worked there for over a year and I went on a company sponsered tour of the area. It is an Austrialian run outfit and seems to be well managed.

  5. My annual renewal is due by the 13th next month. Seeing as I will have to most likely spend all day in the process, I am going to drive to Mae Sot. I did this once before and the immigration part took maybe 10-15 minutes. As far as 90 day reports, the wife has been doing them for me for this past year.

  6. I have lived in Thailand for over 12 years and continually get some sort of virus on my computer. I usually take it to some one to clean up 3 to 4 times a year. I used to do this myself, but since my heart attack and stroke, I now have someone else do it. Have trouble remembering how to do things.

Is it possible to have a USB drive with the operating system installed that will boot, and then disconected??

I plan to buy one of these small computers to work as they have no moving parts.
