Hi All,
I have been searching everywhere for a vine called Thunbergia Mysorensis or (Indian Clock Vine /Lady Slipper Vine) but are yet to find a source here in Thailand .
I came across this vine when I was at a resort in Bandung (Indonesia) and have found it originates from Mysore in India .Do any of you guys here know of anywhere in Thailand I could get some of these plants?
Would be very much appreciated ,

Good Topic and enjoyed reading all the comments .My First time in Thailand in 1980 and was allways frequenting Patpong back then (can we start a fresh topic of the Patpong bars of the '80s).The odd trip to Nana was enjoyable and the Woodstock Bar was great for a relaxed drink and Beer.Hogs Breath also a great buz back then .The daytimes were boring in Bangkok back then and the Snooker Hall in Nana was great to spend a few hours in .Playing pool on those large snooker tables was an experience.
I agree the women back then were absolutely stunning,I am still married to one who I met in '83 and she is still stunning now at 53.
But patpong was insane Sugar Shack ,Roxy, Butterfly, Kings Castle Limelight,Pink Panther ,spot on,grand Prix, Thigh bar ,what memories and the music back in the '80s was what made it so wild.
Sri Bamphen apartments was where I would end up on occasions and there was so many patpong girls there it was allways fun times ,
I allways look back on them days with a smile ,wouldn't change it for anything.

Amazes me when I read this stuff ,as to why some people choose to live in Thailand. My first time to Thailand was in '81, so I have seen the before and after of the farang invasion.
Thailand is not like where you came from ,you are going to have to accept it and get on with it ,or move the F%$# back home.
Every time I decide to have a look on Thai Visa ,it's the same old negative Thai crap I see .Most of you that are whining, would be doing the same if you were still in your birth country. You couldn't get on there and now can't adapt here in Thailand.
As for me after being married to the same Thai lady since '83 ,could not be more happier .I chose to fit in here in their Country ,just as my Thai wife was supposed to in my Country Australia for 15 years.
And as to this dumb Belgian, what did he expect for pushing his phone camera in the thai guys face. Wouldn't he have been much smarter just realising he was in Thailand and not Belgian. He couldn't defend himself so why was he trying to be aggressive?Really he's lucky it wasn't a thai that could fight.Don't go putting your nose into a thai;s face if you are old and weak.
If you think I agree with everything here in Thailand ,well you would be wrong, but it is what it is and I except that.
Anyway this is probably my second and last post here ,will leave it to the keyboard warriors to try and change Thailand ,Good luck with That!

Being an Aussy myself,i cannot see the appeal of wanting to go to Australia.Epensive Taxis,Hotels.Food, sanitized nightlife,Ignorant people and they young ones out of control on Drugs.Doesn't feel like a very nice place anymore..
As far as the visa goes,a friend of mine {aussy}just married a thai ,and bought her to Australia on a tourist visa .It took 5 working days to get.So i dont think it is that hard.
I'd say a waste of money ,unless you want to bludge off friends or relatives.
