I am not sure in Koh Phanagan are but full test in Pattaya-Sattahib area run 4000 baht+ for complete workup of well water. The test runs bacteria fecal matter content acidic or alkaline tests Iron content & several other things . depending on what your testing for the price will vary. There should be some water agencies that are listed in your area. Maybe SBK might know. The Super Duper moderator in your area!

i need the calcium hydroxide aka builder's lime aka type S hydrated lime yes i am sure this is for rendering. the calcium oxide would need processing with water to become calcium hydroxide... should come in bags and powder-form like cement. cheers

trying to source barbed wire - will need a few kilometers of it. anybody done some research on good deals? i guess home mart will have but generally their prices are not so attractive, looking for a local hardware store dealing in large quantities...

i was wondering if anyone has recommendations on where to get "do-it-yourself" supplies (tools, materials) for construction work. i am living on koh phangan and don't know much neither koh samui nor surat thani. are there any large home centers? does anyone know how they compare in prices with the local hardware shops?

also, i am looking to obtain monocrystalline solar cells (not a panel), has anyone been successful? i found 4 solar panel manufacturers but they all sell panels only.

i am also looking for small motors to integrate into a wind turbine, any idea? the specs are low rpm (300 to 500) at 30-40V.
