  1. Concerning the thread going on about a visarun going into international waters:

    Danger Danger Danger

Just came back from picking up my passport at immigration.

I printed out the page from the internet site listed in this thread and asked their opinion.

After some talking around between officers they told me that people going on that trip for visa re-entry will probably get into big trouble.

They were aproached by the owners of that yacht with the request to provide them with in-out stamps for their cruise. This was refused by immigration in soi 8 with as reason they cannot stamp somebody into Thailand if that person hasn't been in another country.

Proof of having been in another country can be in/out stamps of that country or a boarding pass from an airline proving you were on an inbound international flight.

They said they have no idea of how that company was going to obtain the stamps they promise, "the immigration officer on board" as written on that website is guaranteed not from soi 8, and they are responsible for this region!

They also told me if they check somebody's passport and find such stamps then that person will positively be arrested, fined and deported.

If they can't find stamps of another country they will check on their computer system your TM-card on which is written which international flight you arrived with.

Something doesn't add up and you're off to immigration detention center!!!

Beware of those shady deals, they told me they are very strict on visastuff at the moment!

Anybody's guess is as good as mine, but it seems they're trying to get as many people to pay for a ticket and then do a runner??

No affiliation with Mr Boon is there?

According to the officers in soi 8 their is no way of getting those stamps legally without their passengers getting stamped in/out from another country...

  3. Good idea from Axel

Have to go to immigration in soi 8 tomorrow for an extension. I'll try to find out if it is legal and if it is indeed an officer from Soi 8 who gives the stamps. It should be since Axel wrote the immigration checkpoint Pattaya would be responsible.

Will post what they have to say about it!

  4. I'm a Belgian, year after year forein people, with no money ,could enter Belgium.

They dont have pasports,or they burn them on arrival.

    They are given food,money,a house.....

The majority doesn't want to work, just see it as a life long hollyday.

    After a while,they want a TV,motercycle,car,......

So they steel arround untill they are satisfied....(99% of our jails is taken by them)

They still have not enough ,so they hang arround the streets day and night,so us

    goodharted stay home affraid.

Now ,it's too late ,they are too manny to send back.

Politicians are affraid to be seen as "rassist",so they even gone give them the

    right to vote !

So,it's only a matter of time ,(they already have political party's) ,and they will

overtake the country on leagle bases !

Now i come to stay in Thailand,i have to prove i have enough monney, here i have

to obbay to laws verry stricktly..............good,good !!!

If proves me they are a lot smarter than the belgium politicians !!

They say:if u dont have enough monney to live comfortly in Thailand, stay away !

    I agree completely !

So ,if u dont have that monney, take ur thai-lady and kids,to Belgium !!!!

    It's free overthere! And if u dont get what u want:call them "rasists"and u'llget it !!

  5. I am 48,not married,Belgium,have a non immigrant-multiple O-visum for 1 year,

did not have to put monney on anny bank,i only had to prove i have a house in

Thailand(and u can have a house and land in the name of a company ),and that i have sufficient monney comming in ,doesnt matter if it is from

wellfair or renting incoms or a golden hand shake of ur former boss.

I had not a single problem to get it.

Dont listen to friends advise if they are not in the exact same position as u.

Only ur ambassy in ur Native country can provide u the exact information, but normaly it is possible if u have a house or condo.

    good luck.

  6. if a village can burn completely by the flame of one candle,it means it is a verry

    dangerous place to stay!

The owner of that village makes tourist to come there, and so put their life at stake,

just to make a good profit?

Who is the initial resposible ,who makes it possible that such events can happen?

Who is responsible for the obvious lack of safety?

Why is he not insured ?

It's his own candle that lit the fire !

He's the sole and only responsible for this accident !

Good thing is that the whole dangerous place burned down,so it is safe again !

Lucky there where no victims !
