I seem to remember a serious bus crash in Switzerland ,recently ,killing many children. Many other global examples. Given the amazing number of bus movements a day, in Thailand, there safety record is excellent .I have been travelling , for a while-7 years weekly to Bkk. No 1st class in them there days. Let alone V.I.P. My first experiences, date back to when there only 3rd class cattle trucks. Appalling they were.Love V.I.P. Truly excellent. I have to admit ,I much prefer Sleeper Trains, but as I live over 80 kilometres, from the nearest railway station, not a practical alternative

Pity you cannot spell English correctly, nor understand where capital letters should be used , nor is your use of English Grammar totally delightful, trying to inject some humour into your inane diatribeShe is incompetent and a bad influence on Thai children who are told to learn and speek english on a daily basis, Her english is on a level par with a first grader.

Sukumvit is a high rent area.Very much doubt you will find any cheap Indian food there. You will find cheap in Little India, which is at the end of Chinatown Start at Chakraphet Road, , Between the road and a Klong ,there is a big range of restaurants, Veg and non veg, Mainly in the lower price range, but 1 or 2 are more expensive. Mainly only Indians eat there, not many farang know about it.

I know nothing about the U.K. , system .I am Australian ,. The moment you pass through Immigration at any international airport in Oz, Centrelink Are informed instantly . All their computers are LINKED. I would be surprised if such a linkage did not occur in the u.k..Simply by scanning your passport. you are
"known" by your pension people to have left the country. Sure , they don't know your destination , or do they? Interesting

No, in so far as I am aware , it is a bus from(or to)Loei to Morchit 2, then another bus from Morchit 2 to N.S., there may be a bus or buses from L. to Petch abun ,but they most likely will be very slow 3rd class , then slow 3rd class bus or Song Tao to N.S. Your best bet is from L. to M2 ,then to N.S.

Demonic possession? it has a common name or names in English - Psychosis and Schizophrenia, and is caused by over consumption , over a lengthy period of time , of the dreaded Lao Khao. Originally , Southern Isarn was Hindu , With the death of Hinduism , came Animism - spirit worship, which also some connection with China. , which seems to have spread over most of Thailand. Technically, this country is Buddhist, but in reality Animism is still very much alive and well and in many areas , is the main belief system. So,practically , spirit worship, which really means belief in ghosts, is paramount, now. The wind blew an open door shut, the cry is " Pi ma lao, ", that means the ghost(s) shut the door, not the wind. The belief in the presence of ghosts is frightengly real, and they will brook no argument. There is nothing you or I could say that would prove to them, that there are no ghosts

Merry Christmas ? Best thing I love about Thailand ,I have to put up with none of this nonsense. I actually worked every christmas day for 16 years. When I finally peed off from Oz ,to find contentment here, I was so happy to finally rid myself of the financial bullershit , that it ,now ,is so all about. Luckily ,I lost my "belief "in christianity ,when I was 9 years old. Never regained it. Wonder why? What have religions done for the common good of all mankind? precisely nothing. You are all about war , + my "religion" is so superior to yours ,that if you do not belief in mine ,I will kill you.Aren't you "religious" fruitcakes?- I will allow you to define yourselves. Ho,ho,ho ,are you an infidel?Die!!!! How many will die .in the next few years? Will you be one of them? Fortunately,I inhabit an area ,that is free of the "infidels must be killed" Do you? Good Luck !!!!!

In 21 years never had a problem. They L ove Pla Ra , I have my likes , No worries. Food styles Never destroyed a relationship, Have to have their hit of Som Tum , daily,+ their other "needs" I always coped ,with no problems. Don't understand why some of you are so " f123cked" about Their Food needs. It is you who have the problem ,not them .Would you believe ,this is their country ,in which you are a guest? Don't like it ? Bye Bye . Good riddance

Little India is quite small. The one main road is Chakraphet Road. You will see a huge new multi storey Indian shopping Emporium, The soi she is in ,runs alongside the Emporium. It is very easy to find. So, just get yourself to Chakraphet Road and you are home and hosed .All taxi drivers know it

The 7 day rule applies because you can do your 90 day reports at border crossings, which are open 365 days a year ,except when the yellow shirts antagonise the Khmer and a bit of a war breaks out which happened where I live. The border was closed for a bit. Caution !! Last month ,when I did my90 day, it was done on a computer, .No manual filling in of forms any more. How widesread this will become ,I don't know, but it is certainly in operation At Chong Chom Border Crossing in Surin. You don't even have to sign your name. You just give your passport to the Comp. operator-He'She does the rest.

I live very comfortably ,on my O.A.P, in a small town in Buriram province, i can save money , without going without. I go to Makro,(about 70 kms away) etc., about once every 3 months- I do have a freezer,so i stock up. In our town , we have a tesco, and a 7/11 for more basic essentials. + a couple of bars . if required , there are karaoke bars as well, but of no interest to me.life is good, as well as being cheap.i suggest moving to the scrub, it is very cost effective.
