Hi CMFarang! I´ve tested isohunter and demonoid. No problem here. But still no piratebay.org.

I had Wifey to call TOT Callcenter and they promised to contact the local TOT in my region. Since then my line has been down at least 4 times, but still no piratebay.org.

She also called a local TOT-office and asked them to open piratebay.org on their own computer and that was no problem.............!!!!!????????? This seems strange!

I also did as lomatopo suggested, cleared cash, cleared browsing history, closed this and closed that and restarted everything. Still no piratebay.org.

What´s next?? I would have changed internet provider to 3BB if they only had any lines in my village. Unfortunatly they have stopped in the amphue 9 km from here.

I´m so tired of TOT and their unreliable connections and baaaaad service!

My Lenovo T43p laptop recently died. Apparently the main board was the problem. I did not have it repaired because it had two main board failures in five years.

I bought an Acer laptop from Tesco and it came with Linux. Linux may be a good operating system but my wife uses the laptop for learning English. Non of her programs work with Linux. Fortunately I had a legal Windows 7 PRO on the Lenovo so I installed it on the Acer.

If you have no favorite programs, Linux is fine for the Internet and Open Office is a great free office suite.

That's true. Linux is more than adequate for general use like internet and word processing but if you have any Windows specific software you have to go back. That's the reason I keep my machine dual booted. Linux does work incredibly well though otherwise. Generally everything just works and if you need software for something to work it downloads it for you.

You can install "Wine" for running windows program in linux......

Do you have a one year extension of stay from Immigration? That is the requirement for dependent visa issue I believe. Believe dependent is required to visit a Consulate with copy of marriage paperwork and your passport showing this extension of stay and after return can then obtain a matching extension of stay.

My visa is still valid for 6 more months and my company will extend after that....
