It's good to have stadium 7. Without it wouldn't have been able to watch last nights games. I was looking forward to watching Man U,but that is not on until 11pm and I already know the score so won't bother. Did enjoy the highlights of all the games from last night which was on at 6pm. Really missed those. Hope there's no problem on sat.

I have been in FaceTime when the match is on and it's about 22 seconds behind where as true vision was about 7/8 seconds behind.

Anyway I have kept my box on standby and it's not been updated with stadium 7. So could someone tell me exactly what I have to do to update without the need to tel Cth.

CTH just announced before the CP v Arsenal game that they will be showing the PLTV preview program every Friday at 8pm and the PLTV review program every Monday at 9pm. Both on Stadium 2. Progress

When I move next year that is EXACTLY what I will be doing...glad you're happy with these clowns. They are even less organised than the 2 bob cable companies that cost 300 baht a month.

It's not that "I'm happy with these clowns", it's more that when i compare these clowns with the previous clowns, with whom i endured 15 odd years, i don't think they compare that badly, especially not considering both the short time they have been at it, and how much less they charge. Not also forgetting the fact that the previous clowns were the ones who screwed up in their bid to retain their flagship sporting coverage of the Premier League. The clowns who made no effort whatsoever to negotiate some sort of a deal with CTH to show at least some games, and appease all the subscribers who were with them just for the football. The clowns who simply declared that they would focus on delivering other services. The clowns who offered a pathetic 100 baht reduction, from a bill of for many people, 2000 baht, to try and compensate. The clowns who think that HD coverage isn't something that customers should expect as standard, but something they must pay extra for.

I don't think it's the case that i have much higher feelings for these clowns than you, rather it's that you have higher feelings for the previous clowns. As i say, if the previous clowns are that much better, off you go then and take your business to them.

I agree with everything you say. If only true vision could have kept the EPL we would not have to pay for CTH

They do not offer anything extra besides the football so I/we have to keep paying for true visions and we should not be paying anything more for HD channels from true v.

CTH, are all right by me, i paid 535 baht middle of july and not had a bill yet, no deposit on the dish yet and nearly 2 months and not a bill in sight

I am same as you happy with Cth, and also have kept true v gold for other sports and I also have cable TMN which shows astro sports, but wouldn't it be nice if we could only have 1 good sat which have everything. I like to see half time talks in English and after match interviews with managers and the 2 hour show we used to have with true v before the games are played and also the highlites of the w/ end games and not forgetting if you don't stay up to watch a game you get a replay next morning or afternoon before you know the score,but Cth does not do this at the moment or even let you know when there is a replay.

The cost is 3500 Baht and as I understand things that includes the first month.

Bt 3,500.00 sounds right for box and install, as that is what I paid, but did not include 1st month. They asked me for 2 months up front, so in total I paid just shy of Bt 5,500.00

The instalment price seems to be different wherever you go.

I paid 3000 fitted 3 weeks ago and still waiting for a bill.

I will pay for 12 months and get 2 months free.

On the subject of replays is there anyone else on here that doesn't have any audio on some of the stadium channels or is it my satellite.

I am going to send them an email and if that does not work what is the no for complaints?

They are slowly sorting it. When you are on full screen (no grey menus at the bottom of the screen, press the green button. This will give you the English audio option.

They grey menus at the bottom takes far too long to disappear, but you can press 'exit' to make it disappear rather then waiting forever....you may already know this but if you press the green button twice or until you see the 'bow tie' sign you will get a much better sound.

I have used the audio button even on the replays but on some stadium channels there is no sound at all.

More bad news the best match at the w/end is Man U v chelsea on at 2am tues and I don't normally stay awake,I used to watch them next day on true v without knowing the score. Who knows what time next day it's being shown on Cth or at what time if they do.]

Apart from the live games and all the repeats I can't see much else being on these channels.

Personally, I really don't care what else is on channels 131-136. At 300 Baht a month for every EPL game (maybe repeats), I think that is a real bargain....anything else will be a bonus. I'm just glad to have it.

"Maybe repeats?" There had better be repeats Uptheos, or the service from CTH will be seriously falling short of True-standard!! No repeats would meant that potentially you would only be watching 2 or 3 live games a weekend, with coverage of the rest of the games being relegated to the hopeless highlights format. I always looked first to watch Arsenal live (of course), then as many of the other contenders or 'big games' as I could - yes even Spuds. Probably saw on average 5-6 EPL games a week, with 2 or 3 of them being live.

Agree with you 100%, I spent most weekends avoiding the scores so I could watch all the big games 'as live games'. I watched every Spurs and Man City game (I think), plus most of the Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea games. When anyone called the first thing I had to say was "don't tell me any scores". Bloody hard work as results or phrases like 'Man U retain their league position' pop up where you least expect it.

I say maybe, because I really don't know, do you? If there are no repeats I will be seriously disappointed too.

With cth having 6 ch for football I'm sure they are going to show repeats,but with the TV guide they have at the moment there's no telling what match is on and what time I think.But we will know soon when it starts.

The technician from it care center came this morning and fixed a CTH satellite dish and box, the system is working fine. I booked on July 7th so it hasn't taken that long. As I live a long way out of Pattaya, near Laem Chabaeng, I fully expected to be last on the list.I know there have been several doubters on this forum but I am impressed with their service.

The Thai government need to ease restrictions on visas, how much money do expats spend in other Asian countries doing needless visa runs,the money wasted would be spent in Thailand. Yes, do all the checks, but just make it a bit easier for us, make it look like you like us staying here!!

Also the uk limit is £300 and you cannot withdraw 15,000 now ..........If you get 52 baht to the £ maybe you can.

So it does'nt make sense to withdraw small amounts.
