It's a known date rape drug that can be cystalized in a microwave and then smoked or added to something else being smoked. Think twice before you smoke anything. Never leave a drink on a table and come back to finish it off. Never drink or smoke anything offered by a stranger or "new friend". Be aware of what might be added to cheap bucket drinks.
Excuse me but you don't seem to a have clue what you're on about.
Ketamine for date rape?date rape what? a horse? A hallucinogen in adults(in other words you'd get the bejesus kicked out of you by your prospective rape victim),that is STILL(since 1936) one of the safest Anaesthetics around(they use it on children)that is NEVER smoked.
lol.
not even going to bother correcting you further,
ignorance is bliss, and there is a startling amount of it in evidence on TV,especially concerning drugs,
oh and let me beat you to the punch before you call me a drug user or addict,I'm in the Security Business and have been for 20 years, that's where I got my knowledge.
I know first hand of two women who were raped on K in the UK. It is a hallucinogen however it is also a dissociative, an anaesthetic and people who take too much can't even walk or talk (or see reality) never mind kick people's heads in.
I've been familiar with it since the last century, before it was a controlled substance (this happened in 2005 https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/a-change-to-the-misuse-of-drugs-act-1971-to-make-ketamine-a-class-c-controlled-substance-and-place-it-in-schedule-4-part-1-of-the-misuse-of-drugs-regulations-2001) and people used to fly it in to the UK from India hidden in 500ml water bottles (pre liquid on flight laws).
Never heard of anyone smoking it though.. usually it's snorted, occasionally injected.

Sidenote - I also remember vividly a warehouse party in the late 90s that had been invaded by a group of bodybuilder gangster types in Manchester, they were mugging people and took what they assumed to be coke off someone and ingested a big line of K... they got the hell beaten out of them once it took effect.
Yes it is smoked usually with tobacco or cannabis
As well as being swalloed and is used in drink spiking

Better late than never provided the rulings are enforced and not just for the short term.Ferry driver's licence revoked following Pattaya boat sinking
By English News |
BANGKOK, Nov 4 - Thailand's Marine Department has revoked the license of the boat driver following Sunday's tragic ferry accident off the popular Thai seaside town of Pattaya which drowned at least six passengers, while dozens remain missing.
Sornsak Saensombat, director-general of the Marine Department, inspected the accident scene today to investigate the cause of the ferry's capsizing.
He said initial investigation found that the boat was overloaded, while the life safety equipment was insufficient for all passengers on board.
The department is also considering revoke the ferry operator's licence, in addition to that of driver.
The double-decker ferry sank on Sunday afternoon near Koh Lan, a popular island destination close to Pattaya. Nearby ships and boats rushed to help assist the passengers and rescued a total of 209 people.
Rescue operations continued today to search for about 20 missing passengers.
Among the six casualties, a 48-year-old Korean man, identified as To Kin Man, was confirmed dead.
Three other victims were Thais, identified as Chuchart Comphunak, Aree Atyoko and Nanthavadee Sopitpong.
The ferry driver, Saman Kwanmuang, 48, is still at large after the accident.
Mr Sornsak said the Marine Department called a meeting of Pattaya ferry operators to help them better understand the law and regulations of boat transportation, especially regarding safety measures.
Mr Sornsak admitted that some operators have not followed regulations by receiving passengers directly from the beaches, rather than the docks, due to loopholes, so that department officials usually monitor the situation at the ports.
He said the marine department is prepared to enforce the regulations prohibiting the ferry to take passengers from the beaches so that authorities could do thorough inspection.
The operator's licence of those who violate regulations will be immediately revoked if they are found guilty, the marine department chief said, adding that more discussions will be held to set details of the rules. (MCOT online news)

Usually a Marine Board of enquiry will establish the facts and determine the outcomes for any Marine Incident proportioning blame on all concerned to their
degree of responsibility be it the operator or crew concerned and until these outcomes are determined it is usual practice to suspend all operations and suspend the Certificates of any crew involved.
As Thailand is Signatory to I M O & S O L A S Conventions they should follow these Guidelines and due to the loss of life Criminal Proceedings may be pursued
at the discretion of a report displaying Negligence in the Performance of Duties.
As due process must be determined we must await a final Report concerning this Incident/

A Commercial Vessels load line is known as a "Plimsoll Line" thanks to Samuel Plimsoll circa 1824 - 1898 and determines a vessels safe laden capacity and is marked along the waterline both Port and Starboard sides for its operating area and conditions....
Commercial Ferries are limited to a safe passenger number usually limited to its seating capacity and number of life vests and
rafts available...vessels operationg in smooth to partially smooth waters may be exempt from rafts but would substitite Carley Floats
As an examlpe a Commercial Ferry operating within these limits may have capacity of 160 pax + 4 crew meaning it
has a safe working load and stability plus alll safetey equipment to accomadate this number.
Most Commercial Vessels will also have a Mechainical Bilge Pump and a Manually Operated Bilge Pump usually of a semi-
rotary type as back up
In most countries a minimum standard of requirement for manning and crew requirements is a fully Qualifed Master a First Mate
an Engineer and a General Purpose Hand . If the Master is Dual Qualified as Engineer then they may carry a Steward or Deck Hand instead.
It would be a requirement to show regular safety drills are exercised in the event of an unlikey event occuring and that a maintenance log and certificate of Vessel Survey is current.
These are minimum requirements and any Safety Concious Operator would go beyond these limits to maintain Reputation
and Seawortiness of its fleet and Manning standards.
I would consider that Thailand may not be operate under these guidlines but may have its own of which I am not aware.

Having already signed an agreement with Immigration based on an extension to OP's current visa status with a Bank Balance of 400k ThBht ( if I signed an aforesaid agreement I would have requested a copy ) regardless of an appeal as the aforementioned document is a current binding status to his gaining an extension as outlined to him and hisThai wife via a standing order through said Immigration Officer and his Office then that would be his requirement and now on file.
Beyond that - leave the Kingdom - return to home base - and make a fresh application at the local Embassy / Consular office .
If the Immigration Officer declared your Visa Extensions in the past Invalid and this is his interpretation related to you he has given you two options agree to one or the other, by signing an agreement you have shown consent to his and his offices directions.
Yes granted it was late in the afternoon you are under duress / pressure you had an IPad read through the appropriate application the officer sits across the desk and dispenses with or approves these applications , they had been approved before, but not anymore and not by him but on his terms.
The option you consented to is to reapply on his terms otherwise choose option two or three which is a lenghthy costly drawn out really worth all that emotional stress appeal but again he has proof of signature you chose option one
Best of luck with it all whichever option you decide

Bcgardener very true I worked on a farm in aus for a year and was far more isolated than I would be in isaan. For example where I worked was 3 hours drive to cairns and 80km to the nearest super market. the village had 1 pub 1 shop and a petrol station.
Awesome I would love to live that kind of life for a few months just away from it all. And a pub too! Excellent!
Easy , buy a ticket to Cairns, drive out for three hours, find a map and chart 80 km away from nearest supermarket, look for the village with one Pub -Shop-and a Petrol Station ...

I came and built roads and airports and provided infrastructure and security for Thailand from the forces that were trying to do the same thing that was happening in the rest of South East Asia.
Today, I drive on the roads that I built and fly out of airports that I constructed and interact with Thai people that would have been dead if I had not come to Thailand.
.
But they still won't let you buy a square talang wah of land!
Yup true. I seem to remember one fellow that got The Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant and then got kicked out of the country, Funny that eh?
Still for sale ....
