A great addition. That and Palm Villa  (Where Villa Market is now) used to be the only 2 places I went 25 years ago.

    Can't wait ?

    Remember Spinneys? In the outdoor

parking area of Royal Garden off 2nd Road?

I don't live on the darkside but more North of town in Nong Plalai  and have been experiencing problems for 3 weeks or so. Streaming interrupted, loss of internet access for extended periods, temporary loss of internet, having to reset my router a lot. I have received a few SMS messages from them alerting me to potential loss of service, usually for a few hours in the early hours, but once for several hours  in the afternoon.

It's the perpetual aggravation that is getting to me.

I am getting fed up with True although they claim to be improving the fibre network. I actually am on cable. If they had any integrity they would give out some refunds.

True Visions just called and somehow I have been credited with

    3  months of free

satellite  tv. I can't  believe it--haven't  even  complained  about the removal of channels last few months

Been a customer for 12 years though...

These Italians have a lot to answer for, I learnt to eat tripe with them. Damned Saipem.

I made (probably) a dozen working trips to Saipem vessels and it was pasta pasta pasta morning, noon and night :shock1:

But...they served wine with breakfast, lunch and dinner :drunk:

Wonder why there so many accidents and near misses...

  4. The intention is this hemp will have a low-to-none THC content...basically a non-drug plant. In  the cannabis world there are two types of plants, broadly categorized—hemp plants and drug plants. Hemp plants include plants grown for fiber and plants grown for seed oil. Drug plants include euphoric THC-rich plants and non-euphoric CBD-rich plants.

The key difference between hemp plants and drug plants is resin content. Most hemp plants are low-resin plants. Drug plants are high-resin plants.

Industrial hemp varieties are typically a low-resin agricultural crop, grown from pedigree seed, with about one hundred tall, skinny plants per square meter, machine harvested and manufactured into a multitude of products.

Drug plants are a high-resin horticultural crop, typically grown from asexually reproduced clones, 1 to 2 plants per square meter, hand-harvested, dried, trimmed and cured

Walking street as it is now set up is finished.  The government in power does not like the in your face sex that exists and is determined to end most of it.  There way of doing this is to start enforcing laws already on the books that have not be enforced.  The squatters will be handled and either leave voluntarily or be bulldozed out. They are just delaying the inevitable but the military government will not be put off much longer. What happened at Bali Hai and Koh Chang should give the squatters a forewarning of what is coming.

what DID happen on Koh Chang ?

A few more non-pseudo-simians--but they're in the great minority when it comes to new construction/development projects. I mean, the maximum number only showed up for the greatest Pattaya doom thread in TV history: the epic 49-page Widening Of Beach Rd Started At North End, started by one of the same proven reliable economists who'd confirmed the death of CentralFestival in 2009. It was all a few rational posters such as JSixpack, WinnieTheKhwai, brewsterbudgen, LennyW, Ling Kae, champers, NanLaew, guzzi850m2, and ThaiBob, among others (newnative, you shoulda been here), could do to introduce an element of sanity into the hysteria. Clearly just real estate agents, that lot.

That thread even spawned its very own OCD: the dreaded incurable Tic-Related Promenade OCD (TRPOCD). Nor did it wind down until more than a year later with the memorable last sentence by champers:

Patience is a virtue and Geena is a punk rocker!

    Yeah. Sheena, too.

Fortunately this relatively modest refill project, a mere footnote, shouldn't create such hysteria beyond the usual outbreaks of TVF New Construction Syndrome (TVFNCS) evident above.

good grief...is TV your entire life? How in the world do you keep track of all the bs? Get a life away from the keyboard, you'll feel better?

Agreed. Let's hear it from people who have visited Chang Noi and know, or perhaps someone can find the information on the web and post it here. Somebody mentioned a list of national parks but I could not find it.

Good grief, puccini...get with the program. Chang Noi is irrelevant. Forget about Chang Noi--it's just a big, old rock (as pictured in seajay's post #119) that nobody visits except fishermen. Nothing to see except smaller rocks. I could probably piss from one side to the other :w00t:. It wouldn't hold 100 people, let alone 1200. The liner anchored in the bay between Chang Noi and Ao Sapparot and shuttled the passengers to Ao Sapparot:lol:

    Look at the map...

    Map of Koh Chang island

Chang Noi is in far upper-left corner. Got it???

    Its a huge confusion here.

First, they talk about Koh Chang Noi. Note it is not the same as Koh Chang!

Koh Chang Noi is located in Andaman, in Ranong province.

But later they talk about "Thai tourism officials in Trat", so it must be related to Koh Chang and not Koh Chang Noi.

On top of that, there is yet another, very small island near Koh Chang named Koh Chang Noi. But this island is too small and completely uninhabited, the liner could not come there.

So, where all that really happened???

You need some lessons in reading comprehension son. The liner anchored next to Chang Noi--a tiny islet a few hundred meters from the pier at Koh Chang's Ao Sapparot--and the passengers disembarked into shuttle boats and landed on 'Big' Koh Chang...
