Many folks stung by them and 2 near fatalities of children last December.  These where confirmed as box jellyfish by marine biologists from Bangkok along with asssociates from Australia. 3. This is what it says on the Thai Consulate Hull web site today IMPORTANT NEWS - With immediate effect all applications for Non Immigrant visas with Multiple Entries must be forwarded to the Royal Thai Embassy in London for approval. Therefore applicants for this visa wishing to deal with the Hull Consulate must submit their full application to The Royal Thai Consulate in Hull in advance by email to [email protected] so that we can apply to the Embassy for authority to issue. This process could take up to one week. We will inform each applicant as soon as we receive authority to issue.

  4. The validity of the Visa starts on the day you obtain it from the embassy or consulate.

A double entry visa has 3 months validity

A triple entry visa has 6 months validity

Therefore the last entry into thailand is either upto 3 months from issue, or 6 months from issue, dependant on which visa you have purchased, it will be clearly marked on you visa, as entry before --/--/--. This date is fixed. After this date your visa is not valid for entry to Thailand

  5. The road to Had Lek border is very good there are several checkpoints on the way manned by the army just need to show your passport, if stopped.takes about 1 hr 20 mins from Trat at a steady pace Plenty of places to park near to border, no need to take your car across, it is only a short wak to Cambodia checkpoint, and back no need to go into Koh Kong, it is not a very busy border, so dealing with your visa stamps should only take about 45 mins in and out. Have a safe trip and enjoy Koh Chang
