Anyone have a LEGALLY REGISTERED ... YAMAHA XJR 400 in Chiang Mai? with Chiang Mai plates?

Should have an office in Chiang Mai, verifiable references and a local bank account history of more than one year. Any recommendations? I am shopping around I would like to get quotes from at least 3.

I use true now... for one month. As with ALL the providers... it is UP and DOWN. I pay for the 8 MB connection... and only get that in Thailand early in the morning when nobody in CM is online :-)

Upload... sucks.... fastest is 50k upload... at least with TOT I got up to 150 KB/s upload.

the modem they gave me did not work... they tried 2 times. I use my own ...

Bottom line there is no reliable connection in CM... speed fluctuate with all of them.... and you NEVER get what you pay for... and for international sites... speed always SUCKS!

I had the reception at the AMARI RINCOME HOTEL... picked the LARGE POOL area.... was absolutely wonderful. Food was great... everybody had a blast.

We had 240 guests and everything cost us 74,000 THB with special flower arrangement. 50,000 without.

Don't worry about the money to the parents... I pulled 500,000 THB out of the bank for SHOW!!! and i got it all back and gave the Family 50,000 THB.

Gold... just needs to be gold... necklace.. rings.... someone mentioned over 5,000... not necessary... just make it look like it is over 5,000 :-P

Thai weddings are mainly for show... dont worry too much about it... and you do NOT have to grease any wheels. If anyone asks you for money... dont give it to them!

Anyone own a Pizza Restaurant?

I have a class of 30 International Business College students... that I want to take out to a local pizza place to practice ordering and communication in English at a Restaurant. Pizza i chose because it matches exactly one of the lessons in the Cambridge book.

1) I need a Pizza place in the city that can open about 10am

2) Menu's need to be in English

3) Have English speaking staff... to practice taking orders from the students in English.

4) I would like to provide lunch for the students... but on the cheap. For example to feed them cheese pizza only and water... for around 3,000 THB. Some students have money and may order more... but most are poor.

The idea is to give them exposure to speaking proper English in REAL LIFE situations. If you would like to help.. or know of someone ... let me know. It will be good exposure for your business and it will help students in need.

Why would you want an American twist on a German Classic? The original from Germany is much better.. and I am American :-)

Uncle Sams... Joe Jets... Mikes ( Closed and was Uncle Sams and now Mikes again ).

Bottom line is that location is important for a Burger Joint... no matter how good it may be.

The other disturbing fact is that there is not a single place in Chiang Mai that serves a good hamburger. The Duke's is inconsistent at best... not good the last time in.

Mikes... well... the hamburger is not hamburger ( 100% beef )... they buy from a local place and they mix lower standard beef ( more than 30% fat ) with other ingredients... which does not make for a good Burger.

The only one I can stomach lately in Chiang Mai is a Whopper from Burger King.

OK... I have 2 signed up... now I only need 4 more. :-)

2) And make sure insurance is 100% Not sure why anyone would rent with 50% insurance... it is pretty obvious of the scam potential. Insurance for the rental company is the same... insurance companies DO NOT offer 50% coverage by the way.

3) Even if the bike is stolen and you are required to pay 50%... you DO NOT have to pay right away. They only scare you into thinking you have to pay to get the quick cash.

Get a lawyer and make the take you to court :-)

I bought a SONY DVD player from POWER BUY... 3 years now and still works great... never a problem.

Also bought an LG from the Mall...

Now... with the cheaper models... you have to be careful about the laser etc... when you play a lot of PIRATE DVD's it create's problems with the laser and it will stop working from time to time.

if you buy a GOOD quality brand... they will upgrade the laser for free :-) sometimes you get what you pay for :-P
