  1. Had a similar problem with a Honda Moove, riding along then it died, when it stopped it would start again, then repeat further down the road. It was the throttle position sensor, so replaced it and everything was good, until it happened again. This time it was the idle stop switch, just switched it on/off a few times and it's good again. Now I switch it on and off a few times every day and no problems so far. You need to take it to Yamaha or a competent mechanic with a computer code scanner.
  2. Also the knowledge and competence of the installers.
  3. I have a 2004 Toyota Vios with 150,000 km on dual fuel, 90% on LPG. It runs fine, no distinguishable difference between petrol or LPG performance and much more economical on LPG. It hasn't given me any problems. I think it may depend on the quality of the system regarding reliability.
  4. Question was, will immigration give a new permission to stay up to passport expiry or do I need to have 6 months prior to expiry? I'm in Thailand with Non O retirement visa.
  5. Is it necessary to have 6 months of passport validity (before expiry) to get a new permission to stay? Thanks.
  6. I did one yesterday, approved within an hour.
  7. I've been doing the 90 day reports online and have just recently got another 12 month permission to stay. Does the 90 day period reset from the permission to stay or does it continue with the online reporting date, which is 6 weeks different? Thanks.
  8. On the 24th I registered and then submitted my application and was approved, all within 30 minutes. Everything went very smoothly, I'm happy.
  9. I received a similar email about a month ago, which I forwarded to Wise. it took them 3-4 days to reply, it is a scam, ignore it, put it in the trash.
  10. For those who may be interested I have found the problem. After tracing wires, opening power points and junction boxes, I discovered a rat attack in an old style fluorescent light that rarely gets used. The insulation was 90% removed from all the wires inside the box. I need a levitating cat, unfortunately mine hasn't quite mastered that ability despite numerous attempts.
