Just had my 15 year old mountain bike converted to an excellent e-bike (Bafang BBS01B-36V-250W) including battery and charger.

Price is 20'000 to 25'000 THB, takes one day. The bicycle shop Chaithawat in the city is very helpful.

The middle motor runs nicely with pedal assist. 

Downloaded the app  (Section38).... and after the initial process, got the USERID and PWD and registered online after  I came back from abroad.

Today, one month later I went to Immigration for my yearly visa. I printed the TM30 from the online app with all details on it.

The officer would not accept the printout and I had to make a new TM30  (1/2 hour waiting) to get a HANDWRITTEN paper with the same information which I had on my printout.

So if you renew your visa, make sure to get the TM30 from the immigration office as

you will loose time, if you don't have the handwritten paper with a stamp.

Can not see the sense for the online system. 

Does anyone have experience with importing E-Bikes ?  Questions like import duties, taxes ? I understand that bringing the E-Bike without the battery as travel luggage is possible and I guess not taxes if it's used before but the LION Batteries must be shipped with a freight plane.

I went to Sripath Medical Center 2 years ago when they opened and was very happy.  Also the prices were better than most hospitals. Now my wife went, it became a government minded Medical center, waiting hours and not very customer oriented and pricy. I would not come back.

Hi, I have heared, that immigration cannot control (by computer) the 90 days reporting. If I miss the date by more than 7 days, can I just leave the country (e.g. 1 or 2 months later)? Immigration, when leaving the country, can not check, if I reported my last 90 days.
