  1. I was amazed to see in the Rimping stores in Chiangmai that sausagking has put on his products a copied variation of the other curry companies labels including the layout and ingredients on the back – just amazing – why not think about your own design SK?

  2. FDA Approval for a manufacturer or supplier is of great importance in the consumer world. As consumers here in Thailand we only have to look for the FDA approved symbol with a number inside it. This shows us that the item has been manufactured with the approval of the FDA – NO OTHER markings are necessary or required.

It’s simple if it doesn’t have the FDA symbol containing a number – which by the way relates to the manufacturer, and the product number registered at the FDA – it’s NOT FDA approved.

Again if the item has been imported into Thailand there will be a sticker on the item with a FDA symbol and number. There are items manufactured that do not have to be registered with the FDA and as we can clearly see in the supermarkets fruit does not have to have a FDA number.

    A product registered at the FDA has;

to be manufactured in accordance with the FDA

    show the ingredients

show the weight of the product

date of making and use by

    etc –

If there are no markings on the product or its unreadable or the above items are not correct it’s in violation of the agreement with the supplied information from the manufacturer to the FDA.

As a consumer we do have the right to complain and report any violations contrary to popular belief either to the shop the item is on sale in or directly to the FDA.

The scanned image shows the FDA approved symbol proudly placed on the two items – the top being 3 in 1 Ovaltine and the bottom a packet of biscuits.

Hope this helps in the clear understanding of what is an FDA approved product for us as consumers to buy.

  3. For all the lies that are spoken and for the mis informed to know how it works at Rimping - THEY DO NOT get the prices wrong suppliers set the prices with the store.

Yes there is 30% to pay for the use of the store to sell products - ie the supplier is renting the space in the freezer or on the shelves

HOW DO I KNOW - we supply Rimping and others

I cannot use our product name on here - we are not a sponser of this site

The truth - the supplier sets the price of the product and incorporates the 30% pay back to Rimping

No point lying and telling any customers any different - hope this helps to inform everyone

  4. Do you know what they use to check your heart when excercising? The guy that I usually go to has you run up and down his stairs while he is seeing other patients and then electrodes are attached and then he checks you when he has time. I am concerned that so much time passes before he looks at the results. I like this guy a lot, usually, but this test seems somewhat iffy as to the conclusions that are found.

They wire you up and set you off on a running machine - ive had the tests for a couple of years - when finished you get the results in a nice printed out file/folder/brochure whatever you like to call is

  5. "Police said due to heavy traffic congestion in the area, cars are often stuck on the rail crossing during the red light."

Tells you something - admit: we knew for long - about the police....

Cars DON'T get stuck on the rail crossing during "due to heavy traffic congestion" .but due to a total lack of brains and/or manners.

Call it unrivalled selfishness, if you will.

    Somnamna indeed.

    agreed -

its not the fault of the train driver who is probably distressed - its the car drivers and the Police
