He was identified as Italian on Thai tv this evening.Do you guys honestly believe the police and newspaper reports?
Read spot on anaylsis by Andrew Drummond on his website
They even showed his head on the tv.
Then filmed in his hotel room/apartment.
Showing notes, bills, etc, from his desk.
Read whatever propaganda you want, the guy was obviously murdered. What man hangs himself and gets snapped in half from a main bridge in Bangkok??
I will believe dedicated reporters from Britain's The Times and Guardian before any police testomonies to the newspapers in thailand.
Well done Andrew for getting to he bottom of this.

koh tao is also great for snorkeling
I heard Koh Tao is beautiful, any recommendation for where to stay?
Speaking the truth, Koh Tao is not such a good area for diving/snorkeling. It became popular a few years back with backpacking divers and soared in popularity.
That side of Thailand, the Gulf of Thailand, does not have anything in the way of the natural underwater beauty found in the Andaman. best places or diving/snorkeling in Thailand are:
Koh Lanta
Similan Islands
Surin Islands

The TAT comes out with a new cocktail and the foreign media calls it 'can lure back tourists' and 'devastating blow' etc...
A freind of mine was actually at this launching and can swear the TAT didn't say a single thing in regards to luring back tourists etc... They are just promoting a fookin drink

Poor old Harry, constantly denied bail - while the likes of cops shotting farangs get let out no problems.
Hands down, Harry was only the victim of a witch-hunt launched by the PAD/military last year.
Now, it's time for Da Torpedo and Boonyeun - the first of which has yet to be charged and denied bail, the second of which is waiting for a pardon too.

Just watching Thai news eating dinner and saw the most sickening report. 7 Thai men raped a 13 year old girl in a deserted house near khon khen (how ever you spell that).
I have seen a few news stories like this in recent months and i know of 2 thai friends who were raped when young. My GF tells me that it is not uncommon for ladies walking alone to get bundled into cars and gang raped. She tells me rape is a huge problem in Thailand and is always scared of walking alone. I know this happens all over the world and is not exclusive to Thailand, but is this a major problem here? Should we be more concerned for our partners safety here than in our home lands?
It sickens me to think that 7 grown men coordinated and carried out such an evil act.
thoughts ? Experiences? Knowledge?
This was front page headlines of the Thai newspapers this morning. Yes, it is sickening but the same kind of thing goes on in Farangland everyday. Thought i would elighten you if you didnt know.

I opened up my latest account, my third a few days ago, with Bkk Bank in my hometown of Phetburi and they only asked for a copy of my passport (i got a work permit). It seems that you have to fish around. Asking for a work pemit is years old, scraping through regulations from yesteryear.

Says a lot for the Bangkok Post when they have to start hiring reporters from Britain's The Sun newspaper. Charges of murder being or not being pressed, hold your horses before jumping to conclusions after reading Andrew Drummond made-up yarns knocked out to the British tabloids.
