I believe that most house/condo owners received a 3% discount on their April electricity bill. How about the FULL refund for April that was promised (over 150Kwh p.m.u.) ? Any information on how it will be paid back ? Deducted from May's bill ? What if the usage in May is much lower than April ? Many questions and so many unconfirmed rumours ? Last night a taxi meter from HKT to Chalong (near Wine Connection) cost me 655+100=755 !

"Old" price was around 400-450 (total).

I can get a pre-booked, brand new, Toyota Commuter to do the same trip @ THB 900. It will be

waiting for me at arrival and offer much more comfort and safety than the worn down taxi meter,

with no seat belts in the back, that I ended up in last night.

We are planning to export building materials (concrete & steel) and our accountant claims that we have to pay VAT and that there is no way of reclaiming this after the goods have left Thailand (by ship). The building materials are produced here with both concrete and steel coming from Thai plants. I don't think that she is correct !? Anyone.....

I always use a small shop in Southern Phuket Town. It's just before the Suan Luang Park (same side) or almost opposite the Volvo service station. Cheap and very good.
