Probably, going forward you may want to make sure each month’s transfer is 65K minimum.

If you have the 800K at a 25-1 rate that will likely be the easiest.

Circumstances when I first came here from the states does not give me the ability to do the 800K method.

Waiting for the States to list Thai banks that will be allowed direct ACH deposits.

Afraid this will be to little to late.

Fortunately I have a small immigration office to deal with and will go speak with them in the next few weeks.

    Thanks for the feedback.

  3. Lived here for 11 years under retirement extensions.

Have had mostly over and rarely under 65K a month SSA and enough in Thai bank to cover for exchange rates to 25 bht to US dollar.

I use a US bank for ACH deposits and a atm draw here.

Every cent that I receive is transfered to Thailand via this method.

According the this unoffical translation I will not qualify for a extension of stay?

  4. Has anyone actually gone to their local Immigration office and ask the big boss what they will require.

    SSA income verification letter?

US SSA direct deposit bank account statements?

    1099 Tax statement from SSA?

Yearly benefit and cola notification from SSA?

ATM receipts showing withdraws in Thailand.? (each draw is a deposit into a Thai bank)

All of the above should prove income requirement but TiT.

I contacted Bank of Bangkok in NYC and they said my account direct deposit no problem next year.  I have a problem getting my SS docs in the mail here.  Last year was OK the year before everything lost.

Contact via email the Manila SSA office and they will email you verification. I just did and got one directly from them. It is not much very similar to yearly statement from SSA.

  6. Sadly there are many who are miserable in their choices to reside in Thailand and I have found some even willing to go out of their way to make others lives miserable.

Happy with my wife and watching caring for my chickens for the remainder of my days and some that I have been exposed to simply cannot stand someone being content with a choice to reside in Thailand.

  7. I could do with some of these also, I'm getting close to getting the rifle out, but killing someones pet is a bit out of order.

Pretty sure I will do soon though, had enough of them a long time ago.

Almost ready for a feline Columbine massacre.

Yea the Cats here are getting to the baby chickens outside my wall but now are coming in to get mine.

Then the <deleted> have the gall to krap in the grass in several spots. WHEW does it stink.

Also the chickens in the area can get in and empty anything edible for my Red Jungle Fowl, aka wild mountain chickens.................sorta wild that is.

  8. If looks could kill.

Have seen recently from a female family member I have been paying for school when I asked for some accountability.

Suspected not going to school, asked for letter from school, 2 months now and on sheet list from entire family. facepalm.gif
