TBH my licence has pics of bikes on the back and various codes, so I doubt a Thai official is going to look too closely into whether I am licenced in the UK or not! What is the cost for a two year licence?

15 years ago when i applied for my licenses, i had to give them something like this.

They are now available under the K3l3vra repo as this bloke has taken over their development.

I installed the repo from a zip but it will not connect to server when trying to install from the repository. Is the repo dead already?

  3. Hi, I want to get a long validity visa for my wife because applying every time we want to visit the UK is a pain in the ass. Is this a valid reason?

A little background about our application: I have lived and worked here for 15 years. We have a 11 year old who has a British/Thai passport. In the last 4 years we have applied for and been granted 2,  6 month general visit visas.

Any ideas about this  would be appreciated.

  4. My computer is slowing down and i want to do a reset.  I see 2 choices; keep files or delete files. Will this reset only affect the partition with the operating system (C), or will it delete the stuff i have in drive/partion (D) also?

Semi Synthetic is a waste of money. It is neither fish nor fowl. OK if it is the same price but better to buy Synthetic or just oil.

Agreed. Semi-synthetic contains approximately 80% dino oil.  Furthermore, you guys are only looking at the grade/viscosity and not at the actual specification of the oil which is shown by the API-ACEA-JASO-ILSAC rating which is the most important thing to consider when buying oil.   If you select a lower rating than is advised for the engine, it will not offer the correct protection.

Again, read all about it here: http://www.oilspecifications.org/api_eolcs.php
