About Me
Hello human ESL teachers,
I am the new Japanese robot teacher coming to a school near you. I hope you don't mind that I'm due to replace human teachers in 2010 with my electronic microchip based knowledge who never gets ill and is always to class on time. I have animitronic functioning with voice recognition and I/O logic in 10 different Asian languages. The kidz just love me for what I am. A cool plastic anthropromorphic case of microchips like inside your PC and electric servo motors connected to 206 moveable parts that make up my anthropromorphic skeleton. And enough wiring to to reach the moon if stretched out as a linear circuit. I can conversate at a college level in 10 languages, but can't feel emotion so you can't offend me. "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me."
So go ahead, fire away at this mimicking teacher impersonating plastic artificial lifeform to get something off your chest on a bad day in Thailand. Is it too hot in your school today? Tell me about it and you might be lucky enough for me to pay a visit to your school and break out my A/C unit, but you've been warned that it'll run up the electric bill to about 50,000 baht for my month long visit, but you'll be chillin' like a villain with me doing all of your work as I cool your classroom. The kidz will love me for it and you'll be a celebrity superstar in their eyes for presenting the new Asimo HD2010 model equiped with quad processors running at 10 gigaherz address bus speed with true 21st century AI logorythmic solid chip based software to animate your visiting robot teacher. By offering free visits to hot tired fatigued ESL teachers in hot humid Thailand, I hope that schools will put in orders for units identical to myself. Surefly, I'm the latest newest hottest commodity on the ESL market, globally speaking. You have been warned that my system requires a cool environment like that of Japan and Korea so I'll need air conditioning which will require about 2,200 baht of electricity per teaching day so I don't come cheap. Of course, if we step down my address bus speed to 2 gigaherz, we can do standard fan cooled operation like in your average PC so it'll be cheap enough for cheap and thrifty Thailand.
Thank you for taking the time to read about how teachers may be replaced in the next decade by profit seeking private schools as well as government PS's that wish to have an English teacher without all the hassles of sponsoring a FT. This is providing that schools and individuals can continue to afford expensive electronics as we are indeed headed for the deepest economic depression in all of recorded history of the world due to unfettered white collar leadership corruptions running wild for too long. It may appear that they did a terrible job, but they did do one good thing in their profit seeking business ventures. They created me in the process of all their technogical innovations over the past 5 decades.
Signing off.
