  1. Have a Dachshund with major skin problem. Started out biting her paws until they would bleed. Her biting transfered the foot problem to her muzzle. She has something wrong with her anus. constantly schooting on the floor. Her day is spent biting her feet, scooting, and finding things to scrape her muzzle on. Some times it gets so bad she tries to pull her nails out. We've treated her through vets for 2 or 3 years. She's suffering. We have to try something different. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
  2. I have been in Thailand for 15 years on a retirement visa. Never had a home visit until last year. Just renewed my extension for this year and immigraton says they will come again this year. Any idea why the sudden visits after all this time?

I have found the above product sold by several different companies, but all wholesalers requiring large purchases. Its rubber matting with dimples used for water proofing concrete slabs. Comes in rolls. Anyone know who sells retail? Thanks
  4. I am considered disabled by the VA due to chemical exposure.. I have both legs, both arms, and can walk. But sometimes have a balance problem. Been driving a car in Thailand 10+ years . Failed the motorbike riding test twice. Problem is keeping the bike balanced. I asked the licence office about qualifying as disabled and she quickly said no wthout giving me the chance to explain. She said I did not look disabled. Anyon̈e know the disability qualifications and if not being able to maintain balance is one of them?
  5. No green book. Wife called dealer a day or two ago to check status. Land office is done. Waiting for someone to come get. Ordered a new seat. They sent pic of 2023 and 2024 bike. Wanted to know which one mine looked like. It was the 2024. Pictures I see of the 24, 25, and 26 year models look the same. Im ok if it is one of those years. I guess. I cant help feeling like I got a 2 year old bike even if it has never been used. I'll get over it. Better than a poke in the eye with a stick. Oh, I will check paper VIN against bike VIN. Thanks everyone for your input.
  6. On display in the front window of the showroom. Only one they had unless some in back warehouse. Loaded on truck and delivered.
  7. Dump her. It is obvious she is not going to change. Also, lets say he is the only guy she is sleeping with. The unkown is how many women is he sleeping with. The more he sleeps with the greater the chance of your wife and you getting an STD.
  8. Bought new Honda Grom ABS a few weeks ago. Talk to salesman about many things. Never thought about asking the model year. Assumed it was a 2025. Roughly a week later looked at the sales paper for the year. Nothing. New a little about VIN's, so did a little looking on the internet and found the position of the year. It was 2R. Looked up the code 2R and it said the 2 was the month, Feb, and the R was 2023. Feb, 2023 was when the bike was produced at the factory. So I paid the price of a 2025 model for a 2023? Haven't talked to the dealer yet. Wanted to be sure had my facts straight first. Would appreciate your thoughts Thanks.
  9. My wife goes everywhere with me. Basically, for translation purposes and she knows her way around both geographically and people wise. I have never been aware that they did not like wifes to attend. Maybe they can't say the things they would like to say if the wife is there. I will talk to her about that.
  10. I got my extension. They only had a problem with one document. My SS I usually give them a copy of the 1099. This year I had difficulty in finding it, so gave them a letter from SS stating what my monthly amount would be for the new year. It matched what was on my bank statement. She seemed to be irritated and ask for the same I gave last year. She said it was very important. She was going to give me the extension anyway and let me bring later. I thought I would try to find it one more time and did find it on my phone. She was happy, but the damage had already been done. Samut Songkhram is the office. Always been a pleasant office. The previous manager retired. She always treated us well. New manager this year maybe will to. Just need to give her a chance. The thing that got me upset was the home visit. Never had one before except when I first came to Thailand. Plus, basically saying some foreigners seemed to lie and scam. I felt that statement was directed at me and I did not take it well. Cannot get over the number of responses this subject has gotten. Maybe I will be famous and can take my act on the road. ???? ????
  11. Looking for the above or something similar, but in A3 size. Any suggestions were to find? Thanks in advance.
  12. They came. They took pictures and filled out a form. My wife point blank ask them if this was about money. They of course said no. I think this a case of no means yes. As they left, they told my wife they would be back in 2 or 3 months. She ask why. Response was that many foreigners are scammers and liars. Talk about in your face. You were right. I will be expecting another visit soon. How do they get away with treating people like this. I would think it would be considered illegal and abuse of power. I know this is Thailand, but even in Thailand there must be something that can be done legally. Or, maybe just put up with it until they get tired and realize there is no money here. .
  13. Samut Songkhram. Wife went to their office. She said they stated they would start visiting every year. She asks why. Response was some foreigners lie about where they live. Basically, calling me a liar. On my 10th extension, I was in and out in 10 minutes. There were two people in the office. They looked at my record online. Saw that I had no lates on 90 day and no lates on annual extensions in 10 years. Briefly looked at the paperwork I submitted. Approved and out the door in 10 minutes. That is the only time that it happened like that. As far as income verification, this office wants a copy of my U.S. bank transactions for the year. They want to see the source of the money going into my U.S. bank. Then they want to see the Wise transactions transferring the money to Thailand matched up to the deposits in my Thai bank. Also want an updated bank book and a bank letter of certification. They also want either 1099's or a certification of income for each income source. This is what I have been doing since the income letter was done away with. As you said, Thai bank statement should suffice. Seems like they want to make it as hard as they can. The employees are fine with money in bank. When it comes to income, they have not received sufficient training. Now I have to do four 90-day reporting's, annual extension, and a home visit every year.
  14. I retired to Thailand 12 years ago on a retirement visa. Never had a visit to my home by immigration during that time. We just got a call from immigration saying they will visit on Thursday to confirm that I live at my reported address. I married a Thai lady 12 years ago and live in a house and on land that she owns. She has gone with me for each extension of stay over the years. Since I retired my income has almost tripled. Maybe they are suspicious of that. Also, since the doing away of the income letter I have opted do income rather than money in bank. The last two extensions I got angry because they did not know what they were doing and it was obvious. Before you just handed them an income letter. Now you have to confirm your income and reconcile your disbursing bank in the U.S. to your receiving bank in Thailand. They do not know how to do that. Maybe this is their way of getting back for my anger the last two visits. Anyone on retirement visa ever have immigration visit their home afte such a long period of time? Thanks in advance.
