  1. We are building a new house and I would like to use Z Wave dimmer and switches from the US. The electric guy said they would work fine but isn't the power here 220V vs the 120V common in the US?

Any ideas if this will work? Also most Z Wave dimmer need neutral wires to work. Is this common in Thailand?

If you know any good places to buy Z Wave switches in Thailand that would be great too and save me the hassle of buying them overseas.

  2. *Sorry wanted to reply to the other thread*

Something is screwed up with True. I get the following error message on several completely harmless sites:

  3. I tried rosetta stone and didn't like it at all. I joined the learn thai podcast premium course and this works best for me. I don't understand why people still stick to books for learning languages if there are way better alternatives out there, unfortunately rosetta stone is not one of them.

  4. I want to book my flight to Europe and can't access the Etihad website directly. I tried it via another computer located in another country and it worked fine. They offer the cheapest flights that I could find and friends confirmed that and used them before.

Has anyone else problems accessing their site?

Maybe some Thai Airways guy wanted to screw up their business and made a friend at CAT block the Etihad website. It's unavailable on my True line for 2 days now while it works from other countries.

  5. I was in a similar situation some months ago. The books are ok but the cds just have few examples. Learning from your wife will be hard if she is not a Thai teacher and can explain you details. I tried it with my girlfriend and it is good to practice but you will still need someone to explain you all the details. A friend recommended me this online course for beginners here: http://learn-thai-podcast.com/premiumcourse.php and it was a great investment. I have learned much more Thai in the last 6 weeks since I joined this course than in the last 6 months trying to learn with books.
