Yes I was a Vet.
Yes I do have two teenagers in Thailand.
No they did not give me a computer. (Decent library in Hawaii).
My money ran out but not my luck.
I will return but will not OVERSTAY ever again. I will keep a visa and be retired and my money will be constant forever.
Thanks for all the positive comments.

Yes it was and is for real.
there are my tax dollars, just my like my past tax dollars in Hawaii.
There is a saving grace.

Aloha,
Thanks for all your advice in the past; I just thought I would let you know how it all turned out.
I did go to Bangkok and got robbed, then went back to Cm after my passport got robbed too. I had nothing in CM and passed out he street and the consulate got involved and because I was sick and all, they paid my immigration fine and airline ticket too. Well they loaned the money really, but the same.
No time in immigration jail, they even had a cool consulate Thai guy meet me at the airport and handle all things with immigration. Immigration saying see when I get back. SO LUCKY I WAS THIS TIME.
Well got back to Hawaii with 5 dollars and slept on the beach for a week, got into this really good shelter with a bunch of others and have a good place to sleep and showers with dinner too. We all have our own cubicle to sleep in.
The government gave me 320 in food stamps right away and then 320 in cash for other needs, with free health insurance too, which I have used. And a free phone.
Working on getting my social security in place and veteran’s benefits and then when I return to Thailand I will really be retired with direct deposit checks every month.
So about 2 years will return and make all things right.

Doing fingerprinting is a ways off.applying for budget. Then get equipment. Then program the system to take it.
Good or bad it will not happen overnight.

So what becomes of someone who is an overstay in CM?
Not that I have heard of a case here.
They must have IDC here.
-
Surely not every case.
And 12 years ago too.
-
Does this get done in CM or only in BKK?
Can you get fine pay it off at 200 a day and get deported from CM?
I find no mention of it.
-
Some recent experience with IDC. is there any?
-
I am going to do it.
Have no money left.
Can borrow to get to BKK.
Can get ticket when needed.
March right into IDC and say arrest me, I am sorry.
Have letters saying I was doing worthwhile things in community. Have birth record of son I wanted to help and did. Have statements from people that I was not using but really helping people out.
Go before Judge and plead for absolute leniency.
Hope the fine is lowered enough so lock up time is short.
Hope no blacklist and never again after money is straight.
ANY REAL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS WAY WOULD BE GUILDING.
-
I started another post..
Idc the system.
That is what I will do too.
Straighten this out.
Check it out and real experience advice.

I feel for you.
I am in same position.

Michigan is in America and I want no part of the mainland. Those who know understand, the others stay in the mainland please.

NO! WAIT ONE MINUTE!
I AM PROUD!
I have been in this area for 18 years, with some time spent working in states. Before that I worked in sugar cane industry before getting laid off, before that served my country honorably.
I speak musir, thai and english, Hawaiian too.
I have a good reputation with hill tribe people and country thai's that are nearby.
I helped on too many community projects to remember.
I have taught english to children in primary school. For free too.
I support a young girl to go to secondary school all costs paid in advance. Paid in advance for the next two years.
I have or tried to help my own son to have a better life.
I have worked growing food on hillsides and made friends.
With my own hard earn money I built two friends houses of their own.
I have not sat around the bars with the women all around me. Never.
True I have not worked in the office place in BKK,nor would I want.
I have learned and taught thai massage from an amazing teacher.
Yes I overstayed my visa but I have given back to this beautiful country not taken from it.
I have not worked at jobs here that people who have jumped through all the hoops to do honestly.
What happens to thai's in USA that have taken away jobs from wanting to work americans. They are just not allowed to return. No fines.
I love this country and the people and have been respectful of its customs.jai dee.
How many people here can honestly say that? If you can I commend you.
When I do get back to Hawaii any government benifits I get I am entitled to. I paid my fair share of taxes . That includes Social Security if there is any left after Obama is through.
My money is gone now because I did use it help people. I could stay and grow food and survive without taking jobs from others.Do other things with not a worry about overstay. I have excellent relationships with local police and Nii Ampore of this area. We do not talk about visa's for they know I do not take but give.
The only reason I put myself through what may happen is I want to get my retirement funds early if possible and it is not something I can do on the Internet.
DAM RIGHT I AM PROUD!!
