Have you forgot what you posted already?
"Thailand is a developing country that as yet hasn't seen one misely shot from the developed world' is what you said.
Had they joined Covax they would have got some.
Brazil is a Covax country, so is India, Indonesia, Pakistan and the Philippines to say nothing of most African countries.
If this was supposed to be the answer they have an awful lot to answer for.
It's absolutely not the answer to stopping infection and death. Its a procurement machine and it hasn't worked while a small portion of the world continue to own and control the vaccines.
This is a much bigger picture than covax for the open of mind.

You appear to have forgotten what you posted, so let me remind you;
“None. Why?
Because the millions of vaccines exported from India to the richest countries in the world completely disproves the rhetoric. Thailand is a developing country that as yet hasn't seen one misely shot from the developed world and millions from China albeit its usefulness is in question against Delta.
Gates is full of $£€$. It is all about money.”
notice those underlined words. Japan is indeed in Asia, but is also a developed country. Unfortunately for you, you did not say “non Asian developed country”. So Japan is “in the reckoning”.
had Thailand opted to be in Covax, it would have received vaccines from developed nations as part of that program. It opted out. So that fact is annoying in the sense that it makes the intent of your statement (sic that Thailand is a poor country neglected by developing countries), simply nonsense. And totally relevant.
French nationals located in Thailand received vaccines and so Thailand did not have to provide them. Tantamount to France giving vaccines to Thai people.
I see you have failed to provide any linkage to Bill Gates, but introduced some deflection about my being a big pharma supporter. Pointless narrative.
summery? Your statement that Thailand “hasn’t yet received one miserly shot from the developed world” is utterly untrue.
best just admit it, or keep quiet.
Japan is developed but it is an Asian country. The fact is no non Asian developed country has given vaccines to Thailand fot its own population.
Still not responded to India, here's Gates and India. There's lots more if you look it up.
https://thediplomat.com/2021/06/why-are-indians-so-angry-at-bill-gates/
Seems you don't understand what Covax is. It is a vehicle to purchase vaccine. It most certainly has nothing to do with the fact that the west hasn't yet given one miserly shot to Thailand!
They've made a lot of mistakes here but the equitable distribution thoughout the world needs very careful consideration after this no matter how you twist it.
Here's the Covax mission statement:
- Doses for at least 20% of countries' populations
- Diverse and actively managed portfolio of vaccines
- Vaccines delivered as soon as they are available
- End the acute phase of the pandemic
- Rebuild economies

Thailand had the opportunity to join the Covax program, but turned it down.
How's that relevant to the money grabbing big Pharma dividend kill? Taxpayers fund the research while shareholders reap the rewards. Like I said BIGGER PICTURE.

I believe Japan donated 1 million AZ, so there’s that.
And Thailand did opt out of covax, another annoying fact.France sent doses of Jansson for its own nationals in Thailand.
and Thailand has only been open about having a Covid problem since, say, June.
the link between Thailand’s situation and Bill Gates a US billionaire seems, mmmmm,
Japan an Asian counrty is not in the reckoning. Thailand and Covax while annoying to you is irrelevant and France looking after it's own just about underlines the point.
A Big Pharma supporter but what was that about Indian Pfizer manufacture and export? Oh nothing. Mmmmmm.

Absolutely no problem them going to medical staff and their families. If that's what happened. They have only had Sinovac questionable against Delta at the very least. However the blatent disrespect for people's time and trouble? For what so they would look good? Many drove for hours. Lampang even Mae Hong Son to find they couldn't even get near the place. For that alone I'll never grace them ever again.

Partly true.
Virus mutation is entirely predictable. How it mutates and it's effects on the body and the effectiveness of a vaccine are as you say.
Nice play on words ????.
OK mutation. How's that!
Badly informed and exactly what has Thailand in the $%€£ on Delta.
-
Comes from the approach adopted. Either they weren't advised properly or they didn't heed informed facts that virus mutation is unpredictable.

Why? They'll be vaccinated and tested multiple times. 95% of Thais are neither and besides, Thailand has itself on the highest risk Covid-19 list possible. If I was coming I'd be more concerned with my 2 week enforced quarantine having been in Thailand when I got home!

Although I agree with your point in general, Western politicians didn't exactly do great on this front for most of the pandemic either.
No they pussyfooted around it just like him then eventuality they had to make hard choices. ICU beds are getting fewer. This won't end well.

What are you babbling on about.
Whether you wanted to come out of the EU or not (and I didn’t) the UK has led the way along with one or two non European countries in the vaccine program. The EU was slow and ponderous and more interested in trying to score political points then take care of their people.
Hopefully once we are done (next 3 months or so) we can assist the likes of Thailand get their act together and donate surplus supply of decent vaccines.
Responding to the typical jingoism of a Brexiteer.
In your case the fact that a Brit, Brexiteer or not, doesn't understand his own internal politics is no surprise to anyone.

The EU led by Von trap and Macaroon were way behind The UKin ordering AZ and when they saw how well we were doing in giving the vacine to the people they threw their toys out of the pram ,well the court backed us ,thank the lord we left the Eu and went our own way.
Now you know (or you should if you could care less) Britons are not all saying that. There's the 48% oh and ask Edwin Poots ???????? the DUP and just about all the rest of the 1.5M in Northern Ireland heading into a marching season molotov coktail in hand.
Shoddy, inconsiderate and blundering like only the Etonian could muster would be more like it.
Biden's watching though and there's a trade deal depending in it ????????

Well had my jab on the 9th it had been cancelled but the day before the wife got a message on her phone that they now had the vacine and for me to come next day, lets hope they do the same now and make it 12 weeks
We have to give them some credit. A lot of this is happening all over the world. Appointments made based on future supply promises.
AZ was ordered on Friday to supply 50 million doses to EU already paid for.
Mind the Brits are spinning it AZ won...childish stuff all round it seems.

So how does this change of policy affect the millions who have already had their first Az jab and obtained a 16 week appointment?
Probably by phone call. They're getting delivery from Thai Bioscience now and they know the dangers of the Delta variant.

Another central world no doubt. Let's get the basics right ????????

Sorry, you should try a little harder.
We are talking about medical personel who have been vaccinated with Sinovac ! So the total population of Indonesia (who are not vaccinated yet) are totally irrelevant !
If you don't like Reuters, you can try Forbes :
The fact is the EU is mixing AZ first vaccine with Pfizer as a second shot against this variant to improve efficacy. So nobody, you, Reuters, Forbes and all shouldn't be pointing the finger at the Sino vaccines only as regards the Delta variant, the dominant stain in Kudus Indonesia the area they are referring too.
