  1. Last Wednesday 29th of May, I did a money transfer using Wise. It was only my 3rd transfer using this method, the other 2 times had been excellent, with the money arriving from my Australian Bank account to my Kasikorn,Thai Bank within minutes, and very low fees.

This time unfortunately I am still waiting for my money, I have been getting them to call me daily from the wise app, using the help option. Each day they say it will be tomorrow, and they have sent it, but there is a problem with their partner bank in Thailand and it keeps bouncing and getting sent back. Last Friday the did say it would be Monday it should come, They say many other people are also having these problems too.

I rang Kasikorn Bank and they told me that other people had also rung them about the same problem, and the problem was with the partner bank.

I also need to transfer my 65000 baht for my living expenses and visa requirements but now am worried if I do that now I will have the same problem.

Also, with my initial transfer, they told me how much Australian dollars I needed to send to get 16,900 baht which I needed extra last month. Instead of it being transferred to my bank, it went into my wise credit. Then I needed to transfer it from my wise credit to my Thai bank account which incurred extra fees. They have told me they can't wave the fees. I believe this happened because of the problem with their partner Bank and it couldn't be sent directly to my Kasikorn and account. The extra fees don't worry me because they are very minor,

I always had used Citibank Australia, but now NAB has taken them over and when I used them before Wise, the first transfer caused me a week of headaches, and much higher fees, so I don't want to use this option if I can help it.

When I look on wise.status it said they had problems on the 21st and 22nd of May but they were resolved each time in about 2 hours. It states from the 23rd onwards there have been no reported incidents which is untrue.

Has anyone tried to transfer money using Wise between May 29th and now? If so, what was the outcome?

    Thanks

  2. I know you said Bangkok but I needed many root canal, implants and crowns. I first had work done 7 years ago in Mumbai India. Top of the line implants $400 Au 15 year warranty cheaper ones $200 Au 7 year warranty. .same for crowns

Not worth going for just one or two implants.

I had an implant done at Bangkok Phuket Hospital 15 years ago, was 65000 baht then. Still going strong.

Classic victim blaming; assuming without any knowledge, that the whole incident was the fault of the victim.

I have lived in Thailand for 19 years, I have never seen any Jew hatred amongst Thais. Could be because most Thais don't even know what a Jew is, look at Hitler chicken, poster of Hitler with super heros on University campus, etc,  This was naivety not hate.  But with farang, it is a different story, it is rampant especially since October 7th..

Move one country to the south of Thailand, Israelis are banned from entering Malaysia, Palestinian flags flying on many buildings, and rampant Jew hatred running wild.. (The Apple doesn't fall far from the tree when you look at Penny Wong.)

The journalist who wrote this might have thought he would get more hits putting in an Israeli.. but maybe he is one of the very few that said "Israeli" due to Jew hatred.

You believe anything that islamic terrorists tell you as long as it has to do with Jew hatred. .Maybe you don't believe that HAMAS attacked Israel..

Israel was retaliating for last weeks Iranian missile attack on Israel .

Israel didn't attack Iran first , Israel eliminated the mass murdering war criminals who were located inside the Consulate in Syria , where they were probably planning  further war crimes .

Only one error in your message.  It has been reported on most mainstream media it was an embassy or a consulate which was hit. It was really an Annex building next door to the Iranian embassy, being used as a war room and they were planning attacks on Israel. If you watch BBC CNN Al Jazeera etc. they will give you false information. A picture is worth a thousand words.

    Another Darwin award really.

Do you like your life? Fancy not living the rest of it in a wheelchair or perhaps in a bed? Stay off motorcycles.

How on earth did you get to Thailand? You didn't come by plane did you? Didn't you know they're dangerous!

But my biggest worry is how did you get to your hotel from the airport. I hope you didn't use one of those dangerous taxis.

Maybe safer for you not to get out of bed. You could get everything delivered to your place. You never need to take any chances.

When I got my licence I was told I was a temporary Australian. 52 years later I'm still here and I've had a ball on the motorbikes. Having ridden in over 23 countries and millions of kilometres I can't see myself ever not riding.
