If there were no hostages left alive, and the IDF knew that, can you imagine the ferocity of the Israeli bombardment?
Hard to imagine it being worse but.
A great video about the mentality of HAMAS, islamists and jahidists explained by an ex Muslim Iranian.

Escaped? You mean they just decided to leave.
I would guess escaped is more appropriate as normally at drug rehabilitation centers they would not want you to leave. Some may have been sentenced by the courts to go there. If they had just decided just to leave, I doubt whether the police would have been called.

Last Wednesday 29th of May, I did a money transfer using Wise. It was only my 3rd transfer using this method, the other 2 times had been excellent, with the money arriving from my Australian Bank account to my Kasikorn,Thai Bank within minutes, and very low fees.
This time unfortunately I am still waiting for my money, I have been getting them to call me daily from the wise app, using the help option. Each day they say it will be tomorrow, and they have sent it, but there is a problem with their partner bank in Thailand and it keeps bouncing and getting sent back. Last Friday the did say it would be Monday it should come, They say many other people are also having these problems too.
I rang Kasikorn Bank and they told me that other people had also rung them about the same problem, and the problem was with the partner bank.
I also need to transfer my 65000 baht for my living expenses and visa requirements but now am worried if I do that now I will have the same problem.
Also, with my initial transfer, they told me how much Australian dollars I needed to send to get 16,900 baht which I needed extra last month. Instead of it being transferred to my bank, it went into my wise credit. Then I needed to transfer it from my wise credit to my Thai bank account which incurred extra fees. They have told me they can't wave the fees. I believe this happened because of the problem with their partner Bank and it couldn't be sent directly to my Kasikorn and account. The extra fees don't worry me because they are very minor,
I always had used Citibank Australia, but now NAB has taken them over and when I used them before Wise, the first transfer caused me a week of headaches, and much higher fees, so I don't want to use this option if I can help it.
When I look on wise.status it said they had problems on the 21st and 22nd of May but they were resolved each time in about 2 hours. It states from the 23rd onwards there have been no reported incidents which is untrue.
Has anyone tried to transfer money using Wise between May 29th and now? If so, what was the outcome?
Thanks

I know you said Bangkok but I needed many root canal, implants and crowns. I first had work done 7 years ago in Mumbai India. Top of the line implants $400 Au 15 year warranty cheaper ones $200 Au 7 year warranty. .same for crowns
You can chat to them on WhatsApp or message on their homepage
Great dentists, modern surgery, speaks english. www.signaturesmiles.in
Not worth going for just one or two implants.
I had an implant done at Bangkok Phuket Hospital 15 years ago, was 65000 baht then. Still going strong.

Classic victim blaming; assuming without any knowledge, that the whole incident was the fault of the victim.
I have lived in Thailand for 19 years, I have never seen any Jew hatred amongst Thais. Could be because most Thais don't even know what a Jew is, look at Hitler chicken, poster of Hitler with super heros on University campus, etc, This was naivety not hate. But with farang, it is a different story, it is rampant especially since October 7th..
Move one country to the south of Thailand, Israelis are banned from entering Malaysia, Palestinian flags flying on many buildings, and rampant Jew hatred running wild.. (The Apple doesn't fall far from the tree when you look at Penny Wong.)
The journalist who wrote this might have thought he would get more hits putting in an Israeli.. but maybe he is one of the very few that said "Israeli" due to Jew hatred.

You believe anything that islamic terrorists tell you as long as it has to do with Jew hatred. .Maybe you don't believe that HAMAS attacked Israel..

Israel was retaliating for last weeks Iranian missile attack on Israel .
Israel didn't attack Iran first , Israel eliminated the mass murdering war criminals who were located inside the Consulate in Syria , where they were probably planning further war crimes .
Only one error in your message. It has been reported on most mainstream media it was an embassy or a consulate which was hit. It was really an Annex building next door to the Iranian embassy, being used as a war room and they were planning attacks on Israel. If you watch BBC CNN Al Jazeera etc. they will give you false information. A picture is worth a thousand words.

It’s a false equivalence.
However, it was also 1992.
Given your objection to earlier terrorist events/history can you please advise the cut-off date for what’s permitted for consideration and what is not?
Wow, don't you realize Iran funds and controls it's proxies. It was organised and funded by Iran. Don't you understand that Hezbollah, HAMAS, are all Islamic terrorist cells are controlled by Iran, the head of the snake or you just forget or conveniently hide the facts?
The cut off date? Do you mean the start date. Let's say three and a half thousand years ago before Islam was even invented. We can take it from there.

The biggest disappointment in this report is that the strike appears to be at a low level and did not target Iran's illegal nuclear programme. That is just putting off the inevitable.

No, they hit a Consulate, or an embassy; it was a terrorist cell hiding in the consulate in Damascus, which Israel thankfully eliminated
It wasn't even a consulate, it was a military building adjacent to the consulate, it was not a diplomatic facility but a building used by the IRGC for military operations.

This is Thailand. What is normally called a motorcycle in most countries could be a chopper or even a big bike here. What is normally a motor-scooter is a motorcycle here.

I have been using Citibank for the last 15 years. Gives a good exchange rate, transfer time usually three working days.
If I transfer $3,000, there is a fee of $20. It has now been bought out by NAB.

Another Darwin award really.
Do you like your life? Fancy not living the rest of it in a wheelchair or perhaps in a bed? Stay off motorcycles.
How on earth did you get to Thailand? You didn't come by plane did you? Didn't you know they're dangerous!
But my biggest worry is how did you get to your hotel from the airport. I hope you didn't use one of those dangerous taxis.
Maybe safer for you not to get out of bed. You could get everything delivered to your place. You never need to take any chances.
When I got my licence I was told I was a temporary Australian. 52 years later I'm still here and I've had a ball on the motorbikes. Having ridden in over 23 countries and millions of kilometres I can't see myself ever not riding.

Sometimes you can't do this because of the design of the turn, but normally when I turn right, I keep my wheels facing straight, instead of turning the wheels before you turn. Then if you are hit from behind, you are pushed forward, instead of into the path of oncoming cars.

Thailand is in the box seat now to do more study on using Cannabis as a treatment for Yaba, alcohol and other drug addictions. It could be a whole new industry.

Would you prefer, your children to go to a black market dealer, not knowing who the dealer is, if the dealer is going to try and sell harder drugs to your child, they won't don't know the quality of the marijuana purchased, and or if chemicals have been used in growing or what it has been sprayed with plus the chance of being busted and ending in a Thai prison.? Or in any country with draconian drug laws.
Or
Marijuana is controlled by the government, so they can tax it and make money instead of the big dealers profiting. Now it is being tested to medical grade cannabis, there is no threat of being busted or getting a possible criminal record or having to mix with the underworld to get supplies.
Opportunity to be a leading country for research for medical marijuana uses, education, with potential huge industries.
Having marijuana illegal doesn't stop people using it if they want to. To some it makes it more exciting.
