Police scams farang in King power. Kingpower scams AOT by using more area than they have the right to do and will get a bill of 989 million baht. Airport staff steal from farangs luggage. Taxi guys and transport service scammers wants to rip off and scam everybody.

Its not a companys fault if an employee choose to steal.
Thailand sure has strange ways of dealing with its problem inhabitants.. Maybe there is no need to go through the legal system as they only stole form farang..

The new rules, which also cover Internet cafes, allow children to play computer games for more than three hours and up to six hours a day, says Culture Minister Teera Salakpetch.
Those under 15 will be allowed to use the service from 2pm to 8pm from Monday to Friday and from 10am to 8pm during holidays and school breaks, while those aged 15 to 18 can play games until 10pm, Teera says.
The Cabinet also agreed that an IT system to keep kids under 18 from playing computer games for more than three hours a day should be ready before a ministerial regulation amendment is proposed later, he added.

Econonomic recession.. airport closure. DO NOT blame these low numbers on only that. Far from that! Thailand is not the same as before. Blame much of it on large numbers of thai people behaviours.
People where here 6-7 years ago and the only thing they could think of when they left was, when to come back for a next time. This is far from reality now.
Tourist and long time stayers are sick and bored about touts ,scammers, annoying behaviour, rude people, greed and daily violence reported all over the countrys tourist areas.
People from the west ar far from dumb, they have actually a bigger brain I think and could see this thing coming far before any thai. The thais just dont now when to stop do they.
Just see what happened i Phuket during the last days. Wild west shooting in daytime in the middle of lots of innoicent' tourists. The tourists had to run for their freakin lives when on holiday!
On friday two got robbed by two thai males in Surin on the parking lot and almost killed after the Hedkandi party in the club Stereolab. This is also inside the same area where there has never ever been higher a higher security level in Phuket as of the ASEAN meeting .
NO... look and focus on different things guys

I said it before. This country has so many types of scams going on, so many bad touts, so many annoying people in the tourist areas trying to get money out you.
people pulling you in every direction when you re out walking.
Jetski people overcharging repairs with 2-300 %
Motorbike rentals overcharging accident repairs with 2-300 %, and this i know as some of the rentals are thais i ve known for long time and i have helped them out with sourcing 2nd hand parts for crashed bikes. Sometimes the parts all included are 50.000 B but they charge the foreigner easily 150.000 before he can get back his passport.
I have laughed and, drinked with these thai rental guys and pretended I think its ok just to see what kind of scams they are doing. I wanted to learn about this and now I know so very well what they do and how big the scams are
Read the story in Bangkok post last week. A long reportage about people being happy when they left Thailand 4-5 years ago and just wanting to go back. Now its a different feeling many are left with.
To the thais; Dont blame it all on the world economic recession or the airport closure. More look into the missing good moral and ethics of many of this countrys citizens!

NO they dont have to be in your name. Its enough with standard sales paper together with the transfer paper if the seller is not going to go together with you to the traffic station.
At the traffic station you explain that you will export the bike and they will issue a special export license in your name and also print your name as the last name in the green book before canceling the registration. You will need this export license at the cargo company. If not and they will not ship it out for you.
You can do it on a tourist visa as well. Many camboidians an laotians are buying bikes in Thailand and shipping them out of Thailand. Take your passport with you to the traffic statoin.
I know as I ve shipped a lot of bikes from Bangkok.

I have torn past police at high speed, left and right, so many times and never understand why they don't do anything.
Once you've been booked once, they take your license and give you a receipt, making it difficult for other BiB to book you on the same day. So sometime it's better to get the ticket than 'talk'.
Its actually valid for a week and not only for a day. Ill take a ticket if it doesnt take more than 30 minutes to complete and if I know im driving a lot that week. Nice to know you can do what ever the heck you want in the traffic for a week without getting fined.. Its like hitting them back the other way as they are charging you for what the heck they want when you have done nothing.
If you really dont want to pay have your story and face expressions ready from first second the window goes down. Just claim that another check point some kilometres before just got you and you allrerady paid 200 b to an officer. He will ask where just to talk but he is not capable to track it. Say you dont know the name of the street and look very upset about this.. He will smile for sure and let you go. After you spool out of that checkpoint you can have your big laugh.

Just let the thais drain this country empty for foreign money. They dont deserve a single dollar. I ve said it before, whats going on here and they dont deserve any tourist in this country anymore.
It sure not fun to see 8000 GDP go down the drain or to face some years in prison. My advise to someone that gets into this situation. Once out on bail without your passport run away, arrange with someone to get you out of Thailand thrugh a jungle crossing which there is 1000 of and into a neighbouring country except Burma. Then go to your embassy there and tell the story. They will be able to issue a one way travel document back to your home country. Its only your embassy in the country of the accused crime that can not help you.
When home make a big story about it. Make it big and hurt the bastards responsable for this shit.You ll save your money but cant return to Thailand though. But who would want that after this.
There are bigger stories than this around involving much bigger claims from scams.

Ive lost confidence in this country years ago. Looking at this place from different angles and I dont see the thais deserve so much to have a great number of tourists.

Does this idiot even think that Thailand has such a law. There is no country in the world nor Thailand where funds given by a legally wedded husband can not be used as her funds to do what the f... she wants with it in her country.
I would like to se a supreme courts decision rule over this. If they ruled it in favour of the thai land department, and for sure United Nations and all similar organizations would doom Thailand as a severe violating to human rights.
Such a law would be cutting the uplink from hel_l to heaven..
