  1. Good evening TV'ers

I am looking for a little advice regarding my situation.

Entered Thailand on the old Tourist Visa triple entry issued in my home country (UK) and am now on my final extension of stay - permitted until 19th March 2016.

I married my Thai girlfriend last month at Laksi whilst on my final extension of stay.

Is it possible to obtain the 12 month extension of stay on top of this extension or must I leave Thailand next week and buy a new Non Immigration O type visa ?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

  2. I am on a triple entry tourist visa and needed to renew my driving licences as well as changing my address having moved to Saraburi. I went into the local amphur with my partner, explained the situation and after ten minutes I had two letters confirming my new address free of charge !!!

The following day I was able to go to the land transport department and obtain my two new driving licences showing my new address and valid for 5 years - total charge approximately 900 baht.

  3. Why do you have a gun ? That is a serious question by the way.

    This ain't Kansas Dorothy.

Seconds count, and in Thailand the police are hours away, especially at nightfall away from provincial cities and towns.

Also why shouldn't I own a gun? That's a serious question by the way :)

JD, I wasn't attacking the guy either.

Thanks for the reply Mr Scarecrow, I did not realise it was only a BB air pistol or that you lived in the boonies - I thought it was the real deal, and you are quite correct, why shouldn't you own a gun - please accept my apologies.

  4. The place you are looking for is directly behind the Regents school - directions as follows:

The school is located on Highway 36 from Pattaya to Rayong. From Pattaya, go North along Sukhumvit Road and turn right for Rayong along Highway 36. The school is 7km from the junction on the right.

  5. I suffered from quinsy twice, hospitalisation on both occasions. The first episode was treated with antibiotics and I was allowed home after 5 days with no further treatment recommended.

On the second occasion, five or so years later, the Doctor lanced the ulcerated parts of my throat and drained the areas with a big syringe. After a further week on antibiotics I was then wheeled into the theatre for removal of my tonsils.

This was at the age of 34, 8 years later I have had nothing more than minor sore throats and nothing in comparison to the pain and difficulties associated with quinsy.

With the tonsils gone the threat of quinsy is gone for good.
