You agreed to get the MEAL (Not a slice of cheese).
With the meal you get french fries and a drink, so 30 baht extra is a good deal.
Don't drink so much and you won't be so confused.

Once again we a thread running with no substantiating references.
"My Mate said" , "somebody said a team of doctors are flying to Dubai", "a friend at Kasikorn Bank called...." <deleted> !!
Has the guy got cancer or not ?
If he has - let's see an 'official' confirmation.
If not - kill this 'speculative' topic.
"BANGKOK: -- The video phone-in lasted only five minutes yesterday, but it was long enough for Thaksin Shinawatra to tell his supporters and enemies alike that he's not dead yet."
I am very sorry to hear that "he's not dead yet"
The sooner the better for Thailand's sake!

Good bye Reds. The silent majority are not going to stay silent after you killed Thai soldiers. My facebook is going nuts.
Once for all it's time to full force and put these idiot in their place
I agree! Stop talking about negotiating with these idiots and put the leaders in prison for treason where they belong!!
Use whatever force is needed to shut them down.

I have seen a trigger for a grenade launcher, so yes, I probably would recognize it. Plants that make military parts usually have special contracts and special regulations about the manufacture and sale of their products. I would think that this would fall into that category.
At a minimum, I would think that someone would need to provide a little more information than the buyer did to buy these. It's not like they are used to fix a fan.
Didn't you notice that this is an auto part business, not a military supplier!
They probably had no idea what the part was for,

Old Spice Red Zone Deodorant (NOT antiperspirant)
Advil
However there are many products here that are great and are not available in the USA

I hope Thailand never needs to depend upon the top military brass to actually defend the country because their IQ must be in the single digit range.
Nobody with any sense at all would continue to use the GT200 toys.
It should have been obvious to anyone that these were worthless before they were ever purchased.
Reminds me of the quack medical devices of the 1800s.[/b]

I downloaded it using Firefox with no problem - I never use internet explorer.

Absolutely use pilings, either precast of poured in place (with rebar).
"Newton meters" does not represent the soil bearing capacity. Your neighbor's number of 14 Nm is obviously incorrect and meaningless.
The usual values are in kilo-Newtons per square meter (Pascals) and would probably be something like 75 kN/m^2 (or less) if you have soft clay and silt. (That would be 75,000 Newtons per square meter or 1566 pounds per square foot.)
In any event, not using pilings would be asking for big problems.

I have used TurboTax for many years but will no longer use it because of the many errors and wrong information which it contains.
That said, publication 972 (Child Tax Credit - 2009) does Not contain the requirement that the child has lived in the US for any amount of time.
You do, however need a TIN for the child (your stepdaughter) since she obviously does not have a SS number.
You should be able to get this with form W-7 if you can get the required documentation.
I would not trust TurboTax any longer.
Suggest that you check out this site: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/computers/i...urbotax_p3.html

Which one would you choose. Man pays £39,000 to have lunch with Sarah Palin.
http://news.uk.msn.com/world/article.aspx?...entid=149782285
They would have to pay ME a lot of money to have dinner with any of them.
Do they have a dog?? That would be my choice if I were forced to choose.

Thailand, please follow the rule of law and see that thaksin gets the same!
"TAIPEI, Taiwan (CNN) -- Former Taiwan President Chen Shui-bian was convicted Friday on corruption and money laundering charges, and was sentenced to life in prison, according to officials at Taipei City Court.
Former Taiwan president Chen Shui-bian walks inside the Taipei Detention Centre in Tucheng on Friday. var CNN_ArticleChanger = new CNN_imageChanger('cnnImgChngr','/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/09/11/taiwan.chen/imgChng/p1-0.init.exclude.html',1,1); //CNN.imageChanger.load('cnnImgChngr','imgChng/p1-0.exclude.html'); He was fined 200 million New Taiwan dollars (U.S.$6.1 million) as well.
Chen's wife, Wu Shu-chen, who earlier had been convicted of lying to prosecutors, also was convicted on similar charges. She received a life sentence and was fined 300 million New Taiwan dollars (U.S. $9.1 million), according to the Central News Agency, Taiwan's official news agency"

Lately, every time that I exit hotmail I am dumped to that obnoxious MSN India Homepage and must wait for and then click on "back to MSN US".
I do not want "India" and have never gone there of my own free will.
How can I change this default to MSN US????
Very irritating!

I have lived here almost six years and do not have a very good grasp of the Thai language yet.
Partly because I have been too busy with supporting my family (& extended family) to sit down and really study/learn the language.
German and Spanish were easy for me but Thai has/is a real challenge.
Maybe age plays a part also.

Update on "Nokia Care":
Took my N95 8GB to Nokia Care at Esplanade on April 29. After waiting 4 weeks and hearing nothing from them I went in and after a long search, they came back and told me it could not be repaired. They said that it needed a new motherboard for 12,000 baht.
Told them to give it back to me and after another 4 days they returned it. The only thing that they accomplished was to delete everything and make the slide action rough.
Took it to a "junk" shop where they fixed it in a day for 1000 baht with all programming installed. Works same as when new.
Moral- don't waste time with Nokia Care.
... and this has what to do with motorcycles?...
It was NOT put under motorcycles!!

Sorry you are being persecuted. My internet service from True has been excellent for the past six years. My current speed of 8 mbs is great and I have had a total outage of probably less than 30 minutes in six years.

Nokia Care sent it to Nokia repair two days after they received it. Presumably Nokia people are 'working' on it.
Now they say it should be back Monday - 'they have been very busy'.
Probably wiped out all of the files, programs, etc.
UPDATE
Phone was supposed to be done and ready for pickup Monday (May 25). No communication from Nokia at all. Went to Nokia Care today and they eventually told me the phone could not be repaired and that it needs a new motherboard for 12,000 baht.
I told them to give me the phone back and they said I could pick it up Saturday.
Any suggestions for a shop that knows what they are doing so I can get this repaired? I have no confidence whatsoever in Nokia's ability to diagnose or repair anything.
